I'll throw the MAGA forum members a bone.... Looks like there was low impact "ballot abuse" in Arizona in 2020, albeit in the primaries.

    SNIP
An Arizona woman indicted in 2020 on accusations of illegally collecting ballots apparently ran a sophisticated operation using her status as a well-known Democratic operative in the border city of San Luis to persuade voters to let her gather and in some cases fill out their ballots, according to records obtained by The Associated Press.

The alleged illegal ballot collection by Fuentes and her co-defendant happened in plain sight outside a cultural center in San Luis on the day of the primary election, the reports show. Fuentes was at a card table set up by supporters of a slate of city council candidates and was spotted with several mail-ballot envelopes, pulling out the ballots and in some cases marking them.

The records show that fewer than a dozen ballots could be linked to Fuentes, not enough to make a difference in all but the tightest local races.

I'm generally OK with collecting ballots in a sealed envelope for direct distribution to the Elections office or a drop box, but no opening them and/or filling them out...

Fill out your own damn ballot, for crying out loud.

Just serving my public..... After 2 lower courts said the REPUBLICANS suing to prevent release of their interactions with Cyber Doofuses couldn't do that, leave it to the Az Supreme Court to say they can...

    SNIP
The court of appeals said privilege did not apply because the audit was mainly political, no legislation was being considered and the Senate failed to show releasing the documents would impair its deliberations.

The next time any MAGA uses the word "transparency" in ANY context with me, I'm pointing them to this thread.

Again, for the MAGA crowd, this is REPUBLICANS suing to keep private their work product that screwed over their state tax payers

    NOT Democrats....
