Democrats in Arizona lost their bid with the courts to quash the elections results from the audit.

And you will love this, they sighted EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE in regards to putting a cap on the results found in audit.

Deomocrats argued that legislative privilege is automatic in every investigation that the Senate conducts. And said legislators issued subpoenas related to the audit "with an eye to introducing possible reform proposals" in election laws.

    Isn't that just special. :roflol:

In a 14-page ruling Friday, the three-judge panel turned away arguments that the documents are protected by "legislative privilege." They said there is no evidence that the audit, ordered by Senate President Karen Fann, was in any way related to the official business of state lawmakers.

Hanging in the balance are emails, texts and other documents possessed not only by the Senate itself but also those in the possession of Cyber Ninjas, the private firm Fann retained to conduct the review of the 2020 election in the state's largest county.

I guess Democrats in Arizona didn't get the memo on Executive Privilege Democrats were arguing in DC.
    Or is it hypocrisy?
    Pretty funny though

Democrats like keeping their backroom deals secret. You can't blame them, I would too.

The lack of transparency that goes on in politics is unhealthy. This goes for both parties.

I'm not trying to be a smart ass or anything, but did you read the news story you linked?
The first two sentences of your post are inaccurate, according to your link.

WOW! Isn't this thread a little excursion into modern right wing politics in America.

The OP starts a thread about REPUBLICANS losing a court case to hide details of an audit they commissioned into the 2020 election using the comically unqualified 'Cyber Ninjas'. The OP even provides quotes to that effect.

So, what makes this funny? The OP apparently hasn't read the article or even the parts he(?) quoted, and thinks it is about the evilDemocrats. Even funnier several of the usual suspects just mindlessly agree without even bothering to read the article or the parts quoted. A comment on the value of their contributions better than I could even manage.

Yup, no need to read folks, just indulge in the 5 minutes of hate on cue.

If you re-write your entire post and replace “Democrats” with “Republicans”, it will be accurate.

    Here’s what really happened;
1 Arizona Republicans hire a partisan firm to conduct an “audit” for the purpose of finding election fraud.
2 Despite being partisan, the firm doesn’t find any widespread fraud.
3 Arizona Republicans fight like hell to hide the results of the “audit” and anything to do with the “audit”
    4 Republicans lose their fight
5 The OP blames this all on Democrats and says they were the ones who fought and lost.

No surprise. Making **** up and passing it off as the truth is standard operating procedure for dirty donny bonespurs and his supporters.

Now the real question, to @Condor060 :
Will you correct your post and acknowledge that it was Republicans, and not Democrats, who were fighting to hide the results of the audit?

Reading is too cumbersome that’s why they stick to bumper sticker slogans and headlines only

I have seen some embarrassing mistakes here but bravo, really. You should at least read the article before you run to edit it.

There are plenty of fake right wing sites that will do it for you … guess they didn’t have time to rework this?

Any guesses on how much further this thread will actually go courtesy of Balancing Act, BF, bx4, cd8xd & Andrew Jackson?

My guess? Nowhere. Because anything else would actually require the original poster & hangers on to 'think' rather than just merely 'react'.

    Yes! Hilarious.
It was the REPUBLICANS That Didn't Want it released!

Senate Republicans argued that the privilege applies broadly to lawmakers’ communications about the election review

So? What are you even talking about?
And, why is the OP so incredibly MISINFORMED?

Was the article even read? Before commenting?
B/c if one had read it, how could one possibly come up with those misinformed comments?

The AZ Senate is now Democratic. Maybe if there wasn't so much blind hatred for one's political adversary, these mistakes would stop. !!!!

It isn't about the court case. Its about Democrats trying to hide the results found in the audit.
Then trying to hide behind their own executive privilege to stop the courts from providing the results to the public.
    Try and catch up.
