So.........when Team Trump begins their defense of the Orange Fraud in the Senate do you predict they will be talking about Old Joe's kid agreeing to be paid more money than he is worth to sit on a corporate board? Or are you just trying to change the subject?

Ah, so you didn't comprehend, as I thought. I admit there was a lot of legalese, but some things should have been clear even to us non-lawyers.

In the beginning of Volume II, they listed the criteria that an action had to meet in order to qualify as an indictable instance of obstruction of justice. Out of the 11 instances they investigated, 8 meet all the criteria.

D.C. Federal Judge Tosses Trump Suit To Block NY From Giving Congress His Tax Returns
    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/...block-ny-from-giving-congress-his-tax-returns

"A Washington, D.C. federal judge on Monday rejected an attempt by President Donald Trump to prevent New York state from releasing his tax returns to Congress. But Trump could pursue the case in New York, the judge said.

Trump’s suit centers on a new law in New York that would allow the state to release his state tax returns (or those of certain other public officials) to Congress.

The House Ways and Means Committee hasn’t actually requested the documents yet, but Trump in July preemptively sued the committee, as well as New York’s attorney general and tax commissioner, to prevent such a request from being honored."

I doubt this matter will be resolved in time for tax evasion to be added to the list of the articles of impeachment. But this could be taken up as a criminal matter once Crooked Don is out of office.

Besides blocking witness testimony there is another way the Obstructionist-in-Chief is impeding the impeachment inquiry. He is preventing the State Dept. from releasing notes taken by people like Kent and Taylor. Notes that would substantiate their testimony because they were written at the time events took place. Notes that were written well before anyone had any idea Don's extortion scheme would result in an impeachment hearing.
So..........the act of blocking these documents from being released will no doubt be included to the article of impeachment having to do with obstruction of the investigation.

    Another addition?

House is investigating whether Trump lied to Mueller, its general counsel told a federal appeals court
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...97aa5c-0173-11ea-8bab-0fc209e065a8_story.html

The statement came during arguments over Congress’s request to have secret grand jury evidence from the Mueller report released urgently for its impeachment inquiry.

The request followed closely on the heels of Friday’s conviction of longtime Trump friend Roger Stone. Testimony and evidence at his trial appeared to cast doubt on written replies from Trump to Mueller about the president’s knowledge about attempts by his 2016 campaign to learn more about the release of hacked Democratic emails by the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks.
