Why the heck is Hilary Clinton still so high up? What has she accomplished? Nothing. She had a massive lead and completely threw it away for the election. She is universally disliked by many even in the Dem party. She has shown to be arrogant, lazy and selfish. She is intelligent - I will give her that...but so are millions of American women. If she was not married to Bill Clinton, I seriously doubt anyone on this board ever would have heard of her. I would still rather she was POTUS then Trump. But that is like saying I would rather have a migraine headache then an ear infection...they both utterly suck.
Well she is a former FLOTUS, senator, Secretary of State, and won 3,000,000 more votes than Trump did...
Going with that logic, then Trump is no more or less admired than Obama and Hillary since the vast majority of respondents pick none of the three, right? Thank you for admitting that this poll is absolutely meaningless.
Does it make you feel better to know that Trump is the 1st president in 71 years to lose the title of "Most Admired Man" in his 1st year of presidency?
Who cares? I don't. I don't want Presidents who I admire. I want Presidents who will cut taxes, cut regulations, decrease the power of the Federal government and to appoint conservative judges.
It's accurate and factual logic. You don't like that accurate and factual logic because it doesn't fit your narrative.
Yeah...and Trump is sitting in the White House. She could not beat that moron and manchild Donald Trump - despite holding a MASSIVE lead over him at one point. http://theweek.com/articles/664828/...nnable-election-modern-american-history-fault She blew it because she ran a pathetic campaign and she was generally despised. Plus, the FBI investigation against her showed she was lazy, careless and arrogant. And again...if her husband was not Bill Clinton, I doubt you and I would even be talking about her. All of the things you listed came because of whom she was married to, not some incredible effort on her part. Other then possessing a good brain, I see nothing of great value to be admired in Hilary Clinton.
You go with that, Bright Eyes. That will magically make this poll and its underwhelming results important and impressive to everyone who doesn't admire Obama.
But Clinton's and Obama's standings this year are more tenuous than in the past. The 9% who name Clinton is the lowest percentage she has received since 2002, when 7% named her in another close first-place finish. Clinton won the title this year in the same poll she registered a personal low favorable rating. This indicates she remains top of mind for enough people who like her to be named more than any other woman in response to the open-ended question, finishing ahead of some women who may be better liked overall but are not as prominent in people's minds. The percentage of adults naming Obama as the most admired man is down from 22% last year, but he has been at or near 17% in several other years. A quarter of Americans cannot name a man or a woman they admire most. Nine percent name a relative or friend as the most admired man, and 13% do so for the most admired woman. Again....
That "bit" shows how this "poll" is meaningless and that "bit" works for Gallup and has a PhD.... Sorry explaining the poll to you triggered you.
Not quite as "This indicates she remains top of mind for enough people who like her to be named more than any other woman in response to the open-ended question, finishing ahead of some women who may be better liked overall but are not as prominent in people's minds." "Prominence" does not equate to admiration. Again this is from Gallup not I. As a lawyer you should read everything.. Sorry i caught you again.
Obama is the first president to fail to preside over a single year of 3% GDP growth during his entire term in office. Everyone's got their priorities...
