    The irony is still thinking that someone with clear onset dementia is going to beat Donald Trump. Even if the debates are virtually broadcast through webcam, Trump would still knock him silly.

    Biden is a downgrade over Trump, by every reasonable measure.

    Barr hinted that there will be criminal charges. We know that Durham is conducing criminal investigations. They should start charging people in late May or early June.

    It doesn't even matter anymore. When they deliberately withheld the Papadoupolis tapes, they committed the crime known as conspiracy. They also obstructed justice IN THEIR OWN MATTER.

    They committed crimes, that's not even in question.

    Or another way to put it, is that an allegation cannot be a basis. For the very simple reason for if we accepted such a 'low threshold', an investigation could be opened for any reason, and that reason need not(and as seen, wasn't) told to the defendants.

    Yeah, that sort of power can't and hadn't been abused in past dictatorships before.

    It isn't just Barr that feels this way, the FISA court itself has said the early warrants had no justifiable cause.

    But the FISA court has dirty hands. As long ago as April 2017 Landmark Legal Foundation filed a brief requesting a hearing to describe the abuses put on the court. The court turned the request down -- in 4 days, including a week end -- on the basis, essentially, that it was old stuff and water under the bridge.
