Benghazi: Obama ordered help, the Right continues its lies

The response team was clearing the Consulate by 10:54 PM Benghazi time.

Obama cannot deny that help was denied. The admin is silent about the possibility of air strikes.

 

Wasn't he at a safe house?

 

The Ambassador was in another building within the villa compound.. that was called a safe room, but it had no ventilation. The terrorists poured something like gas or diesel fuel and set it on fire.


WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- The CIA was the real commanding agency at the attacked U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, not the State Department, senior U.S. intelligence officials said.

In addition, two of the four men who died in the Sept. 11 attack -- former Navy SEAL commandos Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty -- were actually CIA contractors killed defending the mission, not State Department contract security officers, as originally publicly identified, the officials told several news organizations on condition of anonymity.

Also killed in the attack were U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith.

The intelligence officials said that within 25 minutes of being alerted to the attack in a desperate phone call, the CIA rushed a half-dozen security operatives to the mission from a secret base about a mile away.

might just be me but doesn't it seem a bit suspicious that the official stories and timelines keep changing. Hard to accept something as the truth when the last weeks truth was so different, and that was different from the truth of 4 weeks ago

I was referring to the stories put out by Obama and his minions. This whole thing reeks of CYA flip flopping, revisions of the revisions and flat out lies

too many things don't add up
one example would be the supposed drone, if they were motivated enough to launch a CIA rescue mission why send a unarmed drone? This whole thing stinks like week old fish

 

The CIA was in control of the Dipolmatic Mission in Benghazi, not the State Dept.

 

but didn't Hillary get on TV a couple of weeks ago and say the buck stopped with her, ummm wait after that Obama said the buck stopped with him..... I guess now the buck stops with the CIA

If they are moving guns to Syrian rebels, they won't want to telegraph that information.

This diplomatic mission was under the authority of the CIA.. probably having to do with guns.. and the response team was clearing the consulate by 10:54 PM .. an hour and 14 minutes after the initial attack.

You just can't telegraph everything to are thinking and doing to the enemy.

 

What is stupid is that the Right believes that President Obama would have let four Americans die if he had any way to save them. . .and that he would have done that by choice less than two months before the elections!

But, wait a minute. . . Could there be someone who could have benefited from such a "surprise" just before the elections? someone with a whole base of haters to chime in and blow this out of proportion, spin misleading information and outright lies, in an attempt to turn public opinion of Independent voters toward. . . Someone?

The fact of the matter is, by the morning obama knew who was behind the attack. But, he went on national TV the very next day and tried to blow it off as a spontaneous response to an obscure video. And for two weeks after that attack his administration kept telling that lie, as evidenced by his speech at the un where he repeated the lie to the whole world.
Now we get a whole bevy of "new" information where we had people here, there and everywhere doing this, that and the other thing. But, for two weeks the offical story was that it was the video that caused the attack.

So, you need to ask yourself, was obama so disconnected and/or unconcerned from the process that he remained entirely clueless to the truth?
OR, was he just flat out lying?

 

In sensitive matters of foreign policy and/or national security a president can't always shoot off his mouth even to defend himself.

I think Obama has done the right thing.

 

No it doesn't! The fact is that everyone did the best they could under the circumstances, and it is not because you guysare desperately wanting Obama to be the fall man that anyone is responsible!

People die every day. Soldiers die every day. Mercenaries are Paid BIG MONEY to take the risks involved in wars and civil wars. even Ambassadors are not immune to death in their job, no more thqn Presidents or Senqtors are.

It is very sqd thqt those four men died in q foreign country under q surprise qttqck. . . .but it is just as sad that MANY more people died because of a natural disaster. . .

Now, get over it. You won't be able to use this sad story to keep President Obama from being reelected!

 

Ok, so what's your ultimate point? The men are still dead. The Obama admin sent no air cover. Amb Steven's request for extra security was ignored. So, how does Obama come out of that as anything but a POS?

You're kidding, right? What I see (what most resonable people see) is the RIGHT in a panic mode, because they have thrown every crap possible at the President, and NONE is sticking!

In fact, President Obama keeping his cool under so much qttacks and lies by the Right is showing to the world that he is not only looking, but acting presidential!
