    You make a mistake, your assumption bases on the theory that we care what others think. We do not. We say what we think. Im fully aware when i act rude. Its often enough a shield to keep idiotic tourists away. When i want be nice, i can be nice.

Millions cheered Reagan when he said "Tear down this wall Mr. Gorbachev" sending the message that finally an American leader would out right support and encourage defeating the Russian occupiers and if it wasn't for the support we showed Poland they would not have turned on the Russians leading the way for you. And we appreciate the aid Steuben gave to us and honor him for it unlike you for those who defeated your Nazi's and stopped the mass murders including children in which your country engaged trying to exterminate the Jews, the mentally challenged, the Gypsies, the Poles, Russians et al.

    Your country appears to crave for the recognition of others. We give a **** what others think.

    The basic conflict is...

    You wanted your old aircrafts fly over Berlin with those old pilots and you wanted the Germans as cheering crowd who admire you.

    What you got was the hard german reality. A ban of the event, aircrafts landed on remote airports and no candy stunt. No hard feelings

    The Marshall Plan didn't your hurt your recovery either. Neither did the allied troops that held the line between Germany and Soviet Russia. Y'all got your asses handed to you on both fronts. Best if y'all don't forget like you did after WW1.

    Look, it was a nice gesture in 1948. We have 2019 as i said before.

    That does not mean we have to be grateful. Germany was one of richest countries before WW II and also became again after W W II.

    Im not grateful, we just have our status, because we are very good. Not because an old guy throwing candy.

    I respect old people, so i would shake his hand and pretendcto listen his story 1 or 2 minutes and move on. What i dont want is an 98 year old flying over me. Thats security risk.

    Take the candy and give them to your poor people in your slums. That way it helps more.
