Tx has a free market system.
Prove your case with real news.

Depends who is responsible for Texas not being able to operate at full capacity, and on how much energy cost over $1,500 due to the DOE requirements.

Tx is 100% responsible. They implemented this failed system.
    It's all on them.

So, did BBC actually report that Biden is at fault for Texas' energy infrastructure failure? Or did you get that by supplementing BBC with a dose of RW news sites? I, for one, only see BBC reporting on Biden approving disaster relief for Texas. You realize that just laying off Fox News won't really help confirmation bias, unless you also quit OAN, Newsmax, Breitbart etc.

Dude, the OP posted official legislation.
Interesting how you forgot to mention CNN, MSNBC, THE VIEW, THE DAILY SHOW and all other left spin based news networks in your little rant. So I guess according to you only the right wing ones are "fake"? ok, thanks for clarifying but in the end this is just another sad case of "rules for me but not for thee"
at this point you are harassing me so I suggest you stop
    Thanks

Abbot and DeSantis have big targets on their back from the Democrat party. Democrat voters will stop at nothing to try and get them removed

Imagine if the OP claim was true, and the DOE actually did say "sorry, we don't care about this record storm you're going to face. You can't produce extra power because the extra pollution will be in violation of blah blah." And then ERCOT said "to hell with that. People will freeze! No government can tell us to let people die!" They'd be heroes.

Instead, the DOE said no such thing, and it was infrastructure problems that led to loss of power. And now the deregulated industry, the folks who enabled that deregulation, and the uninformed masses who think that "less regulation" is always the answer are scrambling to defend themselves. Y'all get the government you deserve. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of saner folks who have to suffer under that same government.

Gov DeSantis should be removed IMO for a number of reasons such as continued manipulation of Florida's COVID data, his belligerent anti-masking, and his incredibly unsafe re-open crusades, the last two directly contributing to countless Floridian deaths. But this nonsense about putting a vaccine pop-up in a 'rich White' neighborhood is pure rubbish and as much as I hate MoRon DeathSantis I'm not going to sit silent on a far-left race-pimp scam happening in my own backyard.

You do know that county data is readily available as are public hospitals

You really need stop believing the left spin. THere is no manipulation unless you think reporting non-resident deaths on a separate line is manipulation

Totalitarian governments or totalitarian wanna-bes like the Democrats have one and only one interest and that is their ideology. Any part of their ideology that might be deleterious to the people is not even on any list. They also never have failures. Any part of their ideologies that doesn't seem to be working right is always the fault of the people.

So way back in 2011 Texas experienced a similar weather event, not as bad as this, and was warned to better equip their entire energy grid to withstand cold weather. The same technologies that keep oil, natural gas, coal, solar and wind power working in other states with colder, longer winters, Texas took the warning and ignored it entirely.

    Texas Failed, pure and simple.

Now, partisans are desperate to blame anything and anyone other than Texicans and their lying politicians, cheating, thieving politicians. Not that the citizens of Texas get off easy on this thing. They put those politicians in place and supported this nonsense of Texas standing alone on energy.

"Don't mess with Texas", yeah, right, a little weather kicked your sorry asses and people died for all your .big, empty talk.

"Texas, All Hat, No Cattle", should be the new state motto.
