Here it is, we already know he opposed the travel restrictions and now.

"Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden said Sunday that the dismissal of the captain of the USS Theodore Roosevelt, who raised the alarm about a coronavirus outbreak on the aircraft carrier, is “close to criminal.”"

    https://thehill.com/homenews/sunday...s-navy-firing-of-captain-is-close-to-criminal

He wouldn't have the guts to dismiss this member of the military who not only broached proper procedures and protocols but went outside the chain of command and released classified information over unsecured networks. That Biden doesn't understand stand this and in fact calls the proper removal from command as criminal shows he has no business leading the military.

    It's a disgrace!

I would rather vote for a President who forgives Eddie Galagher, the shame of the Navy Seal, and forces the army to reinstate him.

Besides, Trump knows more about ISIS than the military.

    Biden can't say the same.

His pleas were ignored through regular channels so he broadened the scope.
If this Administration refuses to do what is right they must be forced to do so. He sacrificed his career to save his Sailors
I am not surprised a few Republicans are having trouble understanding honor and sacrifice however.

His quote sums his actions up nicely: “We are not at war. Sailors do not need to die. If we do not act now, we are failing to properly take care of our most trusted asset — our Sailors.”

They hate the military because they wanted to save the lives of troops?
    Explain...

Most simply hate the size of the military, not our soldiers

They were being addressed by the proper channels which have responsibility for the entire theater. He reported after that his carries out his orders if he felt he could not do that they it was his duty to resign his command.

For anyone who knows anything about the military and national security Biden just confirmed he has no business as CnC, he could not make tough decisions.

You think Cincpac and the fleet admiral who is on that ship want sailors to die? I can hear the Marine Commander on Guadalcanal going to the press pool and crying about how there is disease on the island and men are getting sick and they won't evacuate us and when down to 50% strength and getting worse and that appears in the papers the next day.

What do you think would happen to him, he just wanted to save the lives of the troops.

It’s not his call to make. He may have one day been ordered to take his ship into a battle that was a suicide mission and I’m glad he was culled out before he received such an order and refused to follow it.

Maybe not, but increasing his net worth to 3.1 billion, certainly is. I bet you have surely, done better?

~ According to Forbes the inheritance was split equally among Donald Trump and his siblings - most of which went into a trust for his children and grandchildren.

It doesn't take much to impress you.

Trump made returns of 5.5% over 35 years with the money he inherited.

That's the kind of "accomplishment" that Buffett and Bloomberg laugh about.

LOL. Tell me how much better you have done. There is 1,000 million in one billion. Not sure what "math" you are using to arrive at 5.5%?

Why would the army reinstate a navy SEAL? Clueless much?

So they only hate the ones that volunteer beyond the arbitrary size they would like?

The entire ship cheered for him so apparently none of them understand the military like you do.
His actions caused the issue to be immediately addressed.

We are not at war, there is no reason to sacrifice anyone on that ship — not a single person.

Letting his men die because the CIC is a fool is not the same as going into combat. How absurd.

Has it been proven that the captain himself released copies of his letter submitted up his chain of command? Regardless, the captain was right to get help for his crew, & right in his argument that in a time of peace, there's no need to subject his crew to possible death unnecessarily. If I were a sailor, this is the kind of captain I'd like to serve under. Trump was doing what Trump always does--protecting his own pubic image. For Trump, those innocent young sailors' lives were an acceptable cost for him to protect his personal public image. Trump is wrong.
