If corporations do NOT pay any taxes then how come Exxon was CLAIMING a $1.35 billion tax refund?

Visit the boarder my friend, you will see how ridiculous the MSM truly is.
How is Joke and president chlamydia going to pay for all these illegals entering?
The truth is you need to have someone tell you what to do, otherwise why would you vote for someone who has publicly said they will welcome all illegals, give them free housing, free healthcare, free food vouchers all while charging you the taxpayer for this.
Why not protect our borders, lower taxes, and figure out a better healthcare system for hard working taxpaying citizens our country?

Answer: They care more about pleasing their financial doners, their votes, and theirselves than they ever will about you.

Nice ridiculous comeback.
This election has shown me that both sides are corrupt and likely good friends behind closed doors.
The fact is POLITICIANS RUIN EVERYTHING THEY ARE INVOLVED IN.
Unless the taxpaying citizens demand their country back it’s just going to keep getting worse.

Cute.
Your “side” could take everything from you and you’d still praise them and blame the other side.
They have you people right where they want you, divided and weak.

When they are fault, sure. Backing a traitor who keeps saying the election was rigged (even by state republicans) is an obvious ploy to keep power in the hands of the white minority. The problem the GOP has, is their efforts to suppress the African American vote, didn’t work.

If you can find corrupt election practices, SHOW IT. otherwise, just claiming “both sides do it” is pretty lame.

The GOP is absent minded, let alone weak. They didn’t even have a party platform. They have no plan whatsoever but to destroy democracy. Their entire “platform” was “loyalty to Trump”. That is the definition of fascism.

No plan, no ideas, nothing. Just hand the keys of the gov. Over to the highest bidder, the one who pays off Trump the most. It’s hilarious. Trump has just pocketed all the monies he raised for his “defense “ fund and his election scam backing.

Talk about weak minded worshipers !

The gop supporters can’t even come up with rebuttals of their own. They just mimic what the left says about them. They are in total denial.

No, voters for Trump are victims. Being uninformed makes them victims. They are fighting agasint socialism in their minds. So they are fighting against Social security, Medicare, infrastructure, the post office, the public library, public schools and any kind of healthcare. Wow...that’s well thought out.

Let’s see....the right is supporting a dufus in an impeachment trial who just had his legal team quit on him. Legal teams don’t quit on honest or truthfully and innocent people.....scratch Trump and scratch the “weak minded” hero worship.

You, sir, are the one that brought it up, and my math still remains the same. So are you now saying that your point was irrelevant?

Are you serious about ending the scourge of illegal immigrants on our country, or are you trying to help them? Because this does nothing whatsoever but help them. However, if it makes you feel better, I would also strongly support the idea of making illegal entry into the country a felony even on the first offense. (It already is for second and subsequent offenses.)

True, but not all that relevant. The fact remains that they pay those taxes with money they get from us, making them just tax collectors, not payers.

What we need is a commiserate reduction in spending, and more importantly a BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT.

Unless you ascribe to the theory that yesterdays conventional wisdom (things like deficit spending causing inflation, etc., etc.) are no longer relevant or correct. In that event, let's reduce taxes to zero, "print" the money required to pay our bills (and debts), and let the resulting inflation (if there is any) act as a sort of universal fair tax. It affects every dollar the same, ergo it affects every person the same, ergo tax fairness is finally achieved.

That would only help if they were only taxed on income derived from those foreigners. As long as US Citizen's money is being taxed, the money is ultimately coming from US Citizens. Such a suggestion would be very difficult to implement, however.

I didn't say it would be *EASY*! You either figure out who directly benefits from that infrastructure, and find a way to assess them with user fees, or you pay for it out of the general revenues. But, in the event I did not say so, those general revenues should NOT include ANY income or property taxes (meaning sales taxes and tariffs are all you've got left).

Probably the best option would be for that infrastructure to be owned by the public, and going to a cash-free economy. But that's not easy, either, and it REALLY lacks solutions for questions like "How do we distribute these rare coins, that almost everybody wants, and have value, but in a cash-free economy nobody can get them". Maybe that's something of a dumb example, but it is one that would have to be figured out.
So, you're going to help them straighten out--get an education, for example--or you're going to continue the problems we have today?
No. I'm going to let them sink or swim. Or, as is more likely the case with Americans, private charities will come to their rescue.

That's all very nice inflammatory language, but ultimately meaningless. For myself, I don't (and didn't) like Trump as an individual very much. But I DID like his actions and ideas better than Biden's (or Hillary's), including his policies on taxation, who should be put on the SCOTUS, and strong enforcement of immigration laws that are essentially unchanged since the late 80's, except that Biden and his crew would prefer to just ignore them, and do everything possible to encourage as much illegal immigration as is possible.

I live within six miles of the Canada-USA "boarder" and what goes on there has nothing to do with MSM.

We should end illegal immigration. I would use a national ID that replaces and includes social security. The Nexus Pass is a model--an ID that allows holders to go back and forth over the Canada--USA border. Visitors would get the ID as a visa. If they aren't supposed to be working here, a reader (an app on a cellphone) says what the holder can and can't do. Overstay your work permit? The card says you can't work. Americans, of course, get an ID that says they're citizens.

Employers would face nasty fines for hiring illegals. Domestic, casual labor? Must be checked. Flaunt the law? You go to jail.

We could give all illegals a chance to apply for a card before they're issued to everyone and the program goes live. Illegal and fail to apply? You have to leave the country. Getting a card may get permanent status or a temporary visa.

Once in place, the ID will make an illegal worker radioactive for potential employers. Illegals ... why cross the border if you can't get a job? We can decide how many of the millions of illegals get to stay as legals. The rest don't get a card with an approval to work. Your card may be good for 'x' days as a visitor while you wind up your affairs here.

Refugees? We can decide who and how many. Family reunification? We decide. Break the law? We decide who gets a second chance.

We can make our immigration debates about a situation we control, not one controlled by who can run the border or overstay a visa.
There aren't many illegals entering the country because there aren't many jobs.

I suppose you figure you should tell the rest of us what to do.

So, you deny the GOP HAS no platform. None. They don’t even pretend to. No plan for healthcare, no plan for immigration and they certainly have no plan for climate change. They are “ head in the sand” deniers and, let the free enterprise system solve all your problems.....and give you 11 of the last 12 recessions.

It’s your blah idea of sending employers to jail that’s a joke. Laughable. Trump should be in jail then.

you guys don’t even know where most illegals come from do you ? They are visa overstays again, linked to employees who still employ them when their visas run out .

Hilariously uninformed.

Norway (5m people) built up a $1t wealth fund by taxing oil exports. Seems like a goid idea.
We should only have tariffs and sales taxes to pay for national defense? Why?

Charging users with infrastructure costs makes sense for most infrastructure--the power grid, internet, cell service--but not for national forests, defense.
Educate them (our schools suck) or lock them up.

Besides, what are we going to do with many millions of workers put out of work by artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and high-speed wireless? We should begin a national dialogue before it ends up a crisis.

Oh, I stand corrected. The gop plan is to blame the poor, even though all their eco policies create MORE of them. They are the ones with the open door policy toward immigration. As long as businesses can continue to hire third world labor, they’re all for it.

Immigration laws ? Lookin the mirror. You had full control and there was nothing but whining about sht hole countries. . Your plan was to arrest and cage children

That's not going to happen.
Dem or Rep control. Spending doesn't go down.
And NO on a balanced budget. There are times that deficit spending is a must.

Inflation has been dormant for over a decade. Likely because wages have been stagnant? The great recession was huge.

I have mentioned in the past, the need for taxes if we can just print money. But we are only able to print money like that because we are the world's reserve currency.
When we lose that, we will see massive inflation, IMO.
It is pretty vital that the US$ remains the worlds currency.

Exactly.
Defense and entitlements are the bulk . Even Trump promised to protect entitlements, which he did not. Gop supporters are the “ free stuff” group. They want their taxes cut and still keep their goodies. It doesn’t work that way.
