    Exactly. You can't have fact checkers fact checking subjective statement which is what most of debate consist of.

    Have you ever had a discussion with a pathological liar? Not an easy thing to do. You spend your time pointing out their lies. And then the lies continue. The use of reason and facts are not useful in this case. Biden will certainly call him out, and Trump will make 'that face' and throw a snide comment at him.

    No need to add on extra layers of BS by having partisan "fact checkers" contribute their BS, too.

    The conservative fact checker...the liberal fact checker...the so called "non-partisan" fact checker...
    what if they all judge "a fact" according to their own respective tribal definition?

    I'm almost positive this is all a moot point because Biden will likely not debate. I don't think he's mentally all there. I'm also almost positive the DNC knows he's got serious issues and might tank the whole election in a single debate once the contrast between Biden and Trump is apparent. Trump is younger and younger looking, sharper and has more experience than Biden handling criticism and tough questions. Trump can think on his feet. Biden has to read from a prompter in "live" interviews and gets confused very easily. Biden also get inappropriately aggressive and befuddled when faced with even the slightest criticism. All Trump has to do is bait him into a now classic Joe Biden aggressive incoherent rant and its all over. The dem leadership knows this. Thats why I say they are never going to let him on that stage. They wont be obvious about it. They will use these smoke screens like so called "fact checking" and pretend they cant debate because of lack of x or y or just because "Trump Lies" - which is already what they are setting up as an excuse to mask their candidates failing mental state.

    What three sides? How about what I posted?

    So if one of these factcheckers runs a scroll that says LIE, does the candidate get to respond to the assertion or do we just take the factchecker's word for it? What if the factcheckers don't agree and need to discuss it do they stop the debate until they can decide?
