Biden White House Mask Alarmism Having a ‘Deleterious Effect,’ ‘Discouraging People from Getting the

Friday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Fox News Primetime,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) criticized federal government officials, including National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci and President Joe Biden, for the promotion and justification of continued mask-wearing by the public, even in private situations.

Paul questioned the efficacy of fully vaccinated individuals wearing a mask and suggested the mask push could harm efforts to encourage vaccinations if the public does not believe the vaccine has an impact on protecting against the COVID-19 virus....

Senator Rand Paul is right again on this issue. It is stupid to ask people who have been fully vaccinated against China virus to continue as if nothings changed. Now counter productive is that? They should be trying to lure people into getting the vaccine by promising a return to normal for them once they take it. But democrats don’t want a return to normal.

It doesn't help when many of the people who imposed draconian mandates on social distancing and masks violate their own draconian mandates. Biden is one of them and there are many others. And let's not forget that rioting, looting and arson never contributed to the virus spreading.

 

Until someone can explain to me why it’s acceptable to sit at your table and eat dinner without a mask but when you enter, leave or get up from your table you have to wear your mask... then **** your mask mandate.

That’s tantamount to having a peeing section in the pool and then getting upset when someone pees in the non-peeing section.

 

You know that Fauci, right on the heels of an MIT report on masks, distancing, and the spread of the virus ... is changing his scientific opinions on masks and distancing again.

 

A year ago last month Saint Fauci said wearing a mask was stupid and was defended by the left when he was seen at a baseball game without one. Now he said we should wear 2 masks, but keep in mind he also said it was ok to engage in Tinder hookups.

 

I totally tuned Fauci out almost immediately. Trump promised to deliver an effective treatment and the means to make it widely available and I took him at his word. He funded the research, he got early FDA approval, and he rolled out millions of doses without relying on advice from Fauci. The clown is an instagramer with a medical degree and I ain't never been a fan.

 

I have been watching tennis from Spain on the Tennis Channel and noticing that 100% of the Spanish spectators have absolutely no problem wearing masks, why do Americans choose to be difficult and contrary???

 

Trump hid the severity of the epidemic as soon as he became aware of it.

He has repeatedly claimed that the virus will go away on its own, like a miracle, in the spring of 2020....

And you want us to believe, after 571,000 deaths, that Trump acted in the interest of Americans?

Hundreds of thousands of people have died because of the decisions he made.

And that's a lot of the reason the voters kicked him out last November.

 

Because for Republicans, science has a strong liberal bias.

 

LOL ... You think a vaccine could've been developed and produced any faster? Biden took office with 3 vaccines available, and almost all of the logistics for distribution up and running. 180K of those deaths occured on Biden's watch, and most occured in blue states with tough restrictions. And infections are spiking in those blue states again. Hate Trump all you want, just make sure you go get one of his vaccines 'cause Joe's masks ain't cutting it.

that said, the reason they are saying this now is cause they know people will lie about being vaccinated in order to not wear a mask

Fauci already lied for Trump when they had a mask shortage

lying even when one thinks it's for the greater good only hurts one's credibility

 

It wasn't always this way. None of the previous Republican presidents would have acted like Trump. Nor the losing nominees. In my lifetime; Eisenhower, Nixon, Goldwater, Ford, Reagan, GHW, Dole, GW, McCain and Romney. Every last one of them would have handled the pandemic responsibly. They each would have worn and promoted masks. They each would have been honest with us.

Though what we see today has been brewing for years, there was a time when Republicans were serious about their jobs.

 

Gosh, I don't know, why would officials still be concerned about the spread of the virus? Maybe it's because there are
still 50% of Americans who haven't finished the vaccinations. Duh? Ain't ****ing rocket science, dude.

 

No, they weren't up and running. Vaccines were sitting on shelves on Jan. 20th. Trump didn't care about no stinkin' vaccines. Stop the steal.

 

Because you think that the US found the vaccine before everyone else?

If at least that were true, maybe we could have a debate about it.

In the meantime, while you credit Trump with having extraordinary leadership in handling the pandemic, he's the one who got sick after an unmasked party at the Rose Garden....

And he's the one who tweeted that we shouldn't fear the virus.

Then, you have to convince the 41% of conservatives who refuse to be vaccinated while they are only 15% among Democrats.

Where does this mistrust of science come from among Trumpsters?

Because of the refrigeration requirements, and not on Trump's end. The military was ready to airlift the vaccine, but hospitals could store it properly. I know it's driving alot of liberals insane right? Owing their lives to Donald Trump.

If we're being honest, the White House was a hotspot all last summer. How many infected? Just about everybody, wasn't it?

How many infections in the Biden White House, going back to the campaign? One. A Harris staffer who quarantined.

Add to that the fact that Trump was secretly vaccinated just before he flew to Mar-a-Lago.

No danger of Trump doing it publicly, for fear of offending many of his loyal supporters who believe Bill Gates put chips in the vaccine.
