Black man charged with hate crime against white victim during the "knockout game."

As I've said before, this "knockout game" is a yet another race baiting tactic used by the Fox News klan to rile up their low information base. I'd be surprised if more than ten kids played this "game" in the past five years or so, yet cons act like it's an epidemic.

 

You are correct. But right wing bigots nationwide are using it to make talking points against Democrats, liberals, President Obama, and minorities. As always, what is really proves is the extent of their own bigotry.

 

You my be better able to explain that that I am. I lived in a predominantly Black community for three months but it doesn't make me much of an expert. I might add that I moved because of the violence. Someone being shot outside my doorstep was the final straw for me.

And something I noticed is that people didn't speak against it. If anything they made excuses for it. So I suppose that could be part of the problem.

I see that in White communities as well. Some groups bend over backward to avoid mentioning who is doing what to who. I'm not sure how that solves the problem.

Do they want police there helping them or do they hate and distrust police help?

I was there doing volunteer work in a nearly all Black care center working in hospice. And it didn't take me long to realize that in spite of the fact that my patients didn't get any family member visits apparently they didn't want me there to support them while they were dying either.

That's the best I can do. Now please give me your perspective on why there is Black on Black violence in the communities.

 

LMAO, these little posts are getting old. Tell you what every black community is not the "Hood". Come off the compound sometime and get out in the real world and you will find there are some black neighborhoods in this country where there is not gangbanging, drug dealing, crack smoking, etc.

Or could part of the problem be that folks speak against it until they find the police are not going do anything to aid them when the very people they have spoken against retaliate against them.

You ever thought this is one of the main reason folks don't speak out.

If that is the case why is it we never see drug dealing going on in the streets of white neighborhoods.

Or could it be in many cases the police are a part of it.

How many poppy fields do black folks in the "Hood" own?

How many planes do black folks in the "Hood" own to fly in the products?

How do young black men in the "Hood" get the possession of the many fireamrs they use?

How is it that crime is allowed to run rampant in the "Hood", but we don't see that same type of crime in white communities?

How is that someone white can be murdered and their killer be found in days, but folks in the "Hood" are murdered on a daily basis and their killers are never brought to the Bar of Justice?

Now if you can answer some of those questions, then you can understand how Black on Black violence runs rampant in the "Hood".

 

The "little" information of a man being shot on my doorstep IS getting old. It's happening too often all over our cities. The neighborhood was not a hood; it was a predominantly Black middle class community with all the problems of a hood. They needed help. I volunteered. That didn't work.

My local neighborhood is the same. Middle class. Middle class Black people move here and soon their criminal relatives and friends tag along mooching off of them and then there are problems. I've seen it over and over. I feel bad for them because they never seem to be able to escape the illegal behavior of people they feel responsible for. And instead of sending them away or calling the police they protect them and become enmeshed in the problems.

You've never seen drug dealing in a White community? I can just as easily say you need to get out more.

Violence is obviously a majority Black problem and we do see it in White neighborhoods. As I said before, that can only be fixed by Black people coming forward en masse to put a stop to it. And they don't because the violence that they protect has grown so large that it dominates them in fear as you mention.

How would you fix it?

 

How to counter act violence and 'anti-social' behaviour in the inner cities? Good question. Govt and community initiatives are a possible short term fix.

Sorry, but black middle class communities don't have that type of crime in it because that element does not live in the community.

Well that problem can easily be solved, stop allowing the moochers and that element to move in with you.

I guess your right, because I have never driven into a predominately white community stopped at a stop sign and someone walk up to my car and ask me what I want.

Your probably right, but how many of them are going to have to die before the problem is fixed? If the same type of violence was happening in white neighborhoods it would be brought to an end immediately. Many folks don't come forward for fear of retaliation and they realize the police are going to do nothing about it when it happens.

For one punishment is not severe enough in this country. Instead of reading about someone being executed let it be seen. Instead of making prison like being a social club bring back hard labor. Clean up the bad elements in communities, stop the police corruption in bad neighborhoods. It can be stopped it is just a matter of how far the people are willing to go.
