    yep, Trump is riding the Obama wave.... let's hope Trump don't crash the economy

    personally I think recession is already in progress, Trump is just hoping to push it past the 2020 election at this point like Bush was hoping too

    Why can't people think as individuals? What if someone trying to support a family felt that the other party is greedy and taking to much of the fruits of their labor?

    Black Americans abandoned the GOP because the GOP abandoned them.
    Eisenhower and Trump are the only Republican Presidents since Lincoln who have not been virtually indifferent to the plight of black Americans. Trump will benefit from his efforts to help the black American community. Other Republican politicians probably will not gain much from the increased support for Trump.

    I thought I'd seen on here it was "make america wither away", so that's what I've thought it was all this time. You don't even like white people (or so it would appear), why would you want to "make america white again"??

    Anyhow, "make america wealthy again" is better for MAWA anyhow.

    Or we could just stick with the original Make America Great Again :D #MAGA

    David Catron says that McCready, the Democrat, performed worse than “expected” in nearly every county, including counties dominated by minority voters:

    The most unnerving example, from the Democratic perspective, is rural Robeson County. The ethnic makeup of this county is as follows: Native American (38.6%), White (25.7%), Black (24%), Hispanic (8.52%), Two or More Races (2.15%), Asian (0.66%), Other (0.275%). On Tuesday the Democrat received a fraction of the votes he received in 2018, running for the same seat. Ryan Matsumoto of Inside Elections provides the gory details: “McCready won Robeson County by only 1.11 points, a MASSIVE decrease from his 15.31 point margin last November.” In 2012, Obama carried Robeson by 17 points.

    Bishop also did well in Cumberland County:

    Nearly 60 percent of Cumberland County’s approximately 333,000 residents are Black, Hispanic, or a member of some other minority group. McCready won it in 2018. Dan Bishop won Cumberland on Tuesday.

    Robeson County is mostly rural, but Cumberland County is predominantly urban. Bishop’s performance in these two counties and several others suggests that, in the Trump economy, minority group voters, including blacks, may be more inclined than before to vote Republican now.

    Ok, give me 3 Trump policies that changed to make black folks lives better and by that tell me something that had high numbers that he turned around totally.

    Right wingers. You guys talk as if black unemployment was at an all time high until the White Knight Trump rode in and dropped it to an all time low. The numbers are that the BIGGEST drop in black unemployment was under Pres. Obama and also Trump is just riding the wave that Pres. Obama had going years before Trump came on the scene.

    If we're talking about poverty rate, the overall poverty rate among black Americans is still above its pre-recession levels, even as unemployment has declined
