In all fairness, it only says to kill all non-Muslims who standing in the way of Muslims who are trying to implement god's law (Sharia Law.) Once Islam rules over, say Christians, they can't just kill them, but rule over them with an iron fist (jizya, etc.), such as in Q9:29.
