I don’t know if that stat is accurate or not. Probably is. Citizens that ought to be doing the work don’t have to. They have other “options”. I’d guess 2 million or more of the 2.4 million are immigrants, legal or otherwise.

I’m not sure how farmworkers fit into this discussion, especially illegal ones. I’ve been discussing farmers.

It is interesting to consider how legal immigrant laborers view Mike, though. Do you think they would be bothered by his comments about them not knowing how to behave in the workplace? Do you think they will just vote for the Dem no matter who it is?

I had a long talk with a Cuban immigrant and a Mexican immigrant last summer and they seemed pretty happy with Trump. I’m not sure what Mike could offer that would impress them. Of course these dudes were motivated workers. I’m sure there are ones looking for the easier path that might find a Democrat attractive.

I live in a snow white community so I don't have much experience. But that that I have tells me they just don't like Trump personally even if they don't complain about the economy. I also don't think they follow politics as close as we might think. Many probably won't know Bloomberg is winning until a month before the election. But they do know they don't like Trump.
PS. I'm in Arizona, so most are Hispanic.

Pick a few states that aren't already ruby red and lets have a look.

I’ve met some immigrants that don’t seem to care at all about politics. I think they are used to their opinion and vote being worthless in their home countries so are jaded into apathy. A lot are probably like many generational Americans, just believe whatever they see on TV. That’s probably what you are seeing.

It kind of amuses me that I’m kind of the stereotypical conservative leaning anti illegal immigration guy that is supposed to be a racist that hates brown people, yet I’m the one who sits down with them, shares meals with them, and has candid conversations with them about immigration, racism, and politics. :)

Historically most immigrants here are Hispanics. There is a rapidly increasing population of Somalis though who I haven’t had much interaction with. They tend to do “inside” jobs, mostly slaughter and meat packing. You don’t see them out on farms or in feedlots, etc.

I believe between 2-3 million depending on the definition you use. Not enough for Mike to care about one way or the other. :)

He thinks that is all it takes?

He would starve us if we depended upon his farming skills! Lol

He would be growing cotton as a food crop! All seeds look alike to him!

Yep. And right now Trump is underwater in everyone of them.
How's that trade war treating Iowa.
If you think it's good, I have a Foxconn factory in Wisconsin I'll sell you for only 3 billion.
Or an auto factory in Lordstown so you don't need to sell your home.
