I'm sure he could teach someone to farm. There's no chance his student would be any good at it, but why does that matter?

He also implied teaching was easy. Mike can teach anybody he says.

Everything the hoi polloi needs to learn is five steps easy, says Mike.

Sounds like Mike would make a fine president, he understands government process well. He's just added a few steps to the three step mambo: "measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a grease pencil and cut it with an ax." Dig a hole, identify the problem, bury the problem, pour a deluge of money on it, commission millions of reports on the failure of shallow holes to bury problems.

The issue isn't intelligence. The issue is arrogance. An intelligent person can lack knowledge. The more knowledge an intelligent person acquires, the more they are made aware of the scope of knowledge that they don't know.

    It's Dunning Kruger.

He doesn't know what he doesn't know, and he's too arrogant to realize that he doesn't know it.

    The Yankee don't "get it"

    1) Food Production is a National Resource.

    2) Don't Disparage Any Group of voter as Romney & Hillary did.
Romney the 49% dependent on Gov't handouts.
    Hillary and "deplorables".
They still have 1 vote each.

And as I said you're putting the cart before the horse.

LOL - Dude, interesting numbers but now Gary Johnson is responsible for Hillary losing the election?

    That's hilarious.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dems lost every one of those states and some of the Blue States Hillary won in 2016. I can't believe I'm saying this but polls have my own state - Virginia - that hasn't voted for a Republican candidate since 2004 in play this year. Trump is beating everyone but Biden and that matchup is within the margin of error. That's astonishing to me, and it's not good news for Democrats.

Again, I can't wait to see what happens at the DNC in Milwaukee...

The only way I see Nanny State Mike getting the Dam nom is at a brokered convention, and I'm not entirely convinced he could would win that, either.

Of course, we're still a long way off and I think Quid Pro Quo Joe's campaign is going to recover soon. I'm not reading a lot into what happened in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Blacks are the dems core constituency-particularly females.

The dems can't win without them.

Florida and Texas are unlikely to go to Bloomberg in the general.

Its notable that the democrat candidates attack individuals or groups for their failures.

Be it racism, sexism, calling them liars, insulting them, etc-even their own voters.

Trump on the other hand attacks politicians.

I started snickering when I read this. I was sure you were talking about Trump and his comments on a Hispanic judge and $shithole countries, the comment about the disabled reporter, along with his pu$$y grabbing.
But then he loves the uneducated.

Thanks for bringing up commodity markets. Very good point. For a farmer to survive in this day in age they must either have a very good understanding of commodities trading or be wise enough to subcontract marketing duties out to an expert. More than ever, farmers must keep track of weather patterns and other market movers around the world, not just domestically.

On Gruber, it’s sad so many people prefer to be lied to as long as they think they will get something free out of the deal.

Your understanding of the Presidential election process is .00001 on a scale of 100.

Look at this map https://www.nytimes.com/elections/2016/results/president and you will see that LCH barely lost Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Florida as he would have won those States if she had gotten all of the votes that went to Gary Johnson. It is not necessary to waste time, money, and energy campaigning in every State. You have to be selective and Campaign in the States that you can flip and in those towns where you can pick up more votes. For instance, It would be completely silly for the Dem to waste time and money in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Utah, Louisiana, Wyoming, Kentucky, West Virginia, Kansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota.

Right now Missouri has over 4,213,000 registered voters. In 2016 only 2,762,938 voted. The Dems could pick up an additional 600,000-800,000 votes there to win the State by campaigning in the most populated counties and the same is true for Texas, Florida. Wisconsin., Michigan , Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.

In case you don't know it, there are more Dems in North Carolina than there are Repubs = https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegStat/Results/?date=02/15/2020. So, all it takes is for North Carolina and Florida to go Blue and for the other States to stay Blue and we will have a Dem President. Of course it would be nice to pick up Michigan and Pennsylvania as well.

Well, well, well, I'd love to see that dipshat Bloomberg walk up to a lathe, push the green button to turn the motor on, and turn the taper on a rudder stock, or groove a drum that receives a 2" wire rope.

Them's big, big lathes, and if he gets a blue hot chip down his shirt he gonna cry like a baby. It takes a man to walk up to a Poor Reba and make good parts on it.
