No, it didn't. That was what my post was about. The fact that the OP deliberately omits what happened before as they try and drum up more hatred of the Palestinians. In reality it would be more honest to say the Palestinians were acting in self defence. Israelis came secretly over the border to murder people in Gaza. Israel then bombed Gaza so that her assassins could escape.Their rockets were a response to this. Israel knows that Hamas will always fire rockets when she kills their own (in fact I think it is the only reason they do). Israel uses this knowledge to bait them and then to declare she must test out her new weapons on the civilians of Gaza in 'defence'. I will go and read your thing about mediation. The reality is that in 2014 many in Israel including in Government wanted Gaza taken back for Israel. One of the speakers of their knesset even wanted the mass killing of all except those who they could be sure had no relationship to Hamas, given that Hamas are their government they were possibly talking about Spies. Those would be kept in concentration camps and deported out of the area later. Israel will use this lawless time of Trump to get rid of the Palestinians from both Gaza and the West Bank. She will not care how many she murders as she does so as she knows there is nothing absolutely nothing which the American Christian Zionists led by Pence and Trump will complain about. It must of been particularly embarrassing for Bibi to have to rush home to deal with the terrorism of the Jewish State, especially after he called for french Jews to head to Israel in 2015. On the other hand perhaps it gave him an excuse to get away from a ceremony to remember the war that saw brave British and Arabs liberate Palestine.
