I'm all for fair capitalism that doesn't exploit Americans. With outsourcing and these insane CEO pays, coupled with monopolies in the market by the likes of Walmart and McDonald's, it seems true capitalism is not what is happening here.

That's actually a good point. Why not let the fee market decide on how many woman a man can have? Instead of 1:1 marriage, maybe the richest 3 dudes have half of the women in the US, leaving only 80 million to the remaining 160 million men. How would that work? Lots of guys with no prospect of ever having a spouse. But, it's the free market, and the free market can never be wrong.

PFSH! I ain't greedy... I make just enough to pay everything and put a little back, and by a little, I mean about $50 bucks. Sometimes I don't even have that and I have to choose a bill that I can afford to be a week or two late on. I'd love to make more, but I'm not gonna dwell on the rich guys. They happened to be more successful than me, but at the end of the day, (the way I look at it) they can have whatever they want and get bored with life. Me, I get to save until I can afford what I want and it makes me a lot more appreciative and humble.

Yeah, the equivalent to that would be those rich guys getting 50% of the money and the rest of us not getting anything. There's money out there to be made, just like there's women to be found. The common denominator is that you have to get off your ass and go find her and quit expecting someone to give you their girl. How many Middle Class guys are dating million dollar models? How many rich guys are dating million dollar models?

Why do rich guys get the luxury cars that self park and have a million safety features while my Ram has a few safety features and can only remote start? It all fits in, and I couldn't care less. I'm more than happy where I am.

Good for you. You should support raising taxes on you poorer working guys so the billionaire can get more tax cuts. That way you can be even more humble.

The right think tax cuts all the way around are good enough. As long as they're helping me than I'm good. I don't care that they're helping people other than me, it doesn't make me mad at all.

You must not be married if you think that women don’t have minds and freedom of their own.

Well why not? If you like the very richest getting more and more of the pie because it makes you humble, we should just eliminate taxes on the billionaires and put all taxes on people making less than $50k.

Think how wonderfully humble that would make them.

Why should you be outraged, they did nothing to you. figure the bottom 25% probably have NO wealth and the the next 25% have little to any especially net wealth why are you surprised here? What's the problem you believe those at the bottom should have the wealth of others?

Stop trying to bait me dude. I'm not jealous over rich guys and they don't intimidate me. Staying in the middle keeps me humble. Quit twisting it.

Oh course that makes no sense at all and it's not about liking or not liking, it's none of your business what they have made in their lives. Stop being envious and showing your jealousy. You want wealth then go out and earn some money and start saving it and investing it.

Just curious why you seem to think the status quo is perfection for your humbleness. If being poor makes you humble which you obviously view as a virtue, why wouldn't you want to be more virtues?

You're not really explaining your position very well.

Of course it my business and everyone elses.

When our "trickle down" policies mean that fewer and fewer are getting more and more of the fruits of everyone's labors, that's everyone's business.

The fruits of your labor are what YOU get for selling your labor. Your labor is a cost, an expense to your employer. What more for it then improve the value of your labor. Want more income, don't work for someone else, start your own business.

Well maybe you can note that labor unions are not exactly charitable in their dealings. So many of them with high school educations make 3 or 4 times more than those not in unions working just as challenging jobs. They are notoriously democrat (until they finally saw the dark on the DNC)
Then you can throw in the trial lawyers association who control the tort laws in this nation, assuring their wealth and frivilous law suits flourish along with a most insidious litigious nation. They are totally in the liberal/democrat camp.
The educators of this nation, especially university professors and teachers unions are solid liberal and keep the ruse going.
Hollywood, the entire entertainment industry is harshly anti-conservative and anti-family and morals.
The media is the worst. They are your greatest ally with 6 of the 7 TV news networks totally left, and at least 90% of the press in the major cities.
Major corporations and banks, no one can say they are solidly right or left except for those noted above. I do notice those three wealthiest americans (gates, bezos, buffet) are all left politically, without any doubt.
The supreme court and congress has been far and away democrat for most of the past number of decades.

So let's blame Reagan and his policies for the poor shall we?

Of course it is not anymore than yours is of theirs. Stop showing your jealousy.

If you want more of it then go out and earn it. And BTW this increase in this occurred during your progressive "trickle up" policies of the Democrats.

How income is distributed is everyone's business. Stop showing your greed.

Stop using ad homs when you cannot defend your position. And BTW this increase in this occurred since the Reagan "trickle down" revolution of the Republicans.

We had unions before 1981, but in fact, labor union representation has decreased dramatically.
We had trial lawyers before 1981.

We had union teachers before 1981.

    We had Hollywood before 1981.

We had media before 1981. I agree that the wealth of the richest has sky rocketed since 1981. That's the point.

That's wrong but they were as democratic before 1981.

Since nothing else you've described explains why income inequality because skyrocketing in 1981, that would be a logical deduction.

If you want to have a credible graph then instead of lumping in the failures and unsuccessful with the middle and upper successful to compare against the top 1%. compare the say 50% to 99% to the top 1%. You know those that were also successful. We KNOW the poor aren't going to do well on earnings which is why they are poor, in fact many don't even earn any income because they don't work at all over very little. Why should they expect their incomes to go up as fast as successful people?
