I'm continually fascinated by the fact you claim I never have anything intellectual to add, yet you continue to pursue me across the forum. Why is that? I admit that I don't follow you around like you love to do me so I don't know if you do this to others or not. Still, I'm curious. Why? What is your fascination with a person you've repeatedly posted has nothing intellectual to add to the conversation? Two examples from your 446+ claims others don't have anything intellectual to add yet you keep posting to them:
So again you do not care to engage in an intellectual discussion and prefer bromides and platitudes? And I have never said you have nothing intellectual to add, do get what I say correct. I have asked you if you have anything intellectual to add when you don't add anything as in now. Do you?
On the contrary, I do all the time. Everytime you find yourself painted in a corner, you derail and whine about how others aren't as intellectual as you. Obviously easily disproved:
A lot more people doing them including Senators, their staff, the White House, lawyers and the public itself with people who knew/know/served with/worked with/dealt with/lived by and the FBI interviewing and following up leads, plus a whole host of recommendations to dig through and validate. I would imagine the application to fill out is pretty extensive as well. Mine was easy, they interviewed a neighbor, a teacher, checked my finances and records, checked my school records and talked with my Commanding Officer and a few other people. ? I respect most that serve. There are always a few bad apples in every bunch... even those that serve have their share. Not sure why that is even important to you.
What is the Federal Law this violates? If the claims against Booker are true, and we have no reason to assume they're not since all survivors of sexual assault have a right to be believed, it suggests that the Democratic Senator who has never been married may be bisexual. In 1992, Booker wrote an article in which he admitted to sexually assaulting a girl when he was 15 years old, groping her at a New Year's Eve party in 1984 against her will. In a 1992 Op-Ed unearthed by BuzzFeed, however, Booker claimed to hate gays, writing: I stopped telling my gay jokes. ****, flamers and dykes became homosexuals and people of differing sexual orientation and, of course, I had my gay friend. But I was disgusted by gays. The thought of two men kissing each other was about as appealing as a frontal lobotomy. Is Booker projecting? Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump If Cory Booker is the future of the Democratic Party, they have no future! I know more about Cory than he knows about himself. 7:14 PM - Jul 25, 2016 https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018...oker-accused-sexually-assaulting-man-restroom
He hasn't denied it yet? Isn't this the guy who admitted to groping a high school classmate after she rebuffed his advances? pattern of behavior? privilege and entitlement, perhaps? where are Diane Feinstein and the rest of the duplicitous scumbags? so many questions, so few Democrats forthcoming...
thebradfordfile™@thebradfordfile This ‘credible’ tweet has aged well. Cory Booker ✔@CoryBooker I strongly support Dr. Ford’s request for an FBI investigation before holding a hearing. These are serious and credible allegations that should be properly investigated by the FBI, which would be consistent with precedent. 11:54 AM - Oct 21, 2018
How was Brett's background investigations different from your TS background check? It was an observation. You and I both know why.
The same one which caused the FBI to investigate, however lightly, Brett. My best guess is that it's a Federal thing. For example, if a person claims to be a military officer, retired or otherwise, and they are not, it's a violation of federal law. Ergo, FBI jurisdiction. Not a lawyer, but I suspect that anyone serving in a federal position falls under FBI jurisdiction.
The request to investigate came from President Trump, himself, not a Federal statuette that forced the FBI to look into it. They had already cleared him and didn't think the allegations were credible enough to look into. What about someone claiming to be a minority to gain financial and political gain? I don't know if the FBI will investigate Cory Booker but I would like to hear his explanation or denial on Monday morning though.
Awesome. Any violation, or accusation of violation, should be investigated. All suspicions of criminal activity should be thoroughly investigated regardless of position or party affiliation. Why have laws if they are not enforced?
Whereas this accusation is neither proof nor even admissible evidence of Booker's guilt, LW reaction to it, turning on a dime into dime-store armchair lawyers and citing to principles they were willing to discard INSTANTLY in Kavanaugh's case, will be IRONCLAD proof of their lack of character, sincerity and credibility generally. BTW, there is no equivalence between coming forward 4 years and 30 someodd years later, nor is there any equivalence between a crime the victim can identify as to time and place, other details versus accusations where details are mysteriously absent, nor is there any equivalence between an allegedly witnessed crime where all the witnesses deny it occurred and one that was unwitnissed. All that said, Booker deserves the full protection of the rule of law he was so desperately fighting against during the Kavanaugh confirmation.
