What is the likelihood that this has been kept quiet for political reasons? Low? Medium? High? Certain? Even at 'low', it's an absolute travesty .. and truly terrifying. Apparently, the hurt feelings of adults are more important than the actual survival of young girls.
Every time I see the word "asian" coming out of the UK I roll my eyes. I wonder how much longer they can hide the disaster that is coming.
What kept it quiet for so long was basically misogyny and lack of care for the people involved, generally having lived in care homes and a change in how society looks at rape possibly as a result of the Jimmy Saville enquiries. People had been complaining. They just were not listened to. Social Workers viewed it as 'life choices' which they girls had made. On another forum I read that we did not have the appropriate laws in place so they had to create the law of 'grooming'. It was a Muslim Crown Prosecutor, Nazir Afzal who at long last got the prosecutions in Rochdale started. When the investigations of our MP's and VIP's for paedophile offences was supposed to be happening, Theresa May said that people had better brace themselves as child sexual abuse was endemic in the UK and lastly in this particular case I saw one of the girls who had been involved on TV last week and she said that in this instance the men were not just Muslim as she had heard they were in other cases but came from all religions and none and every colour of skin.
The main reason these perverts want to reach the UK is that they'll be able to abuse children and have no fear of the consequences. And that's even if they're caught, which recent history has taught them is highly unlikely. They also know they won't need to work, and will therefore have more time to indulge their perversions. We've lost the plot, and we have the liberal mentality to thank for it.
