By what means, do you KNOW the answer to that age old question?

A Multiverse has indeed been REALISED in our Universal Reality the first time a Quantum Processor or Quantum Computer worked.

A Quantum Computer works with all existing Infinite Divergent Versions of itself existing in Alternate Universal Realities.

That is the tenet of Quantum Computation....Quantum Superpositioning and Quantum Teleportation.

Thus some members here have no idea what they are talking about.

Any more fairy tales that you want to share with us? Please show the "...Divergent Versions of itself existing in Alternate Universal Realities."

You have now also mentioned 'teleportation'. Talk to your buddies that control that special computer that don't work when observed and have them teleport about 10 million dollars to my living room. I hope it is there tomorrow morning so that I can go get that new car that I have been wanting.

So what is your complaint here?
This is the exact same thing we have today, with a dozen different major Christian denominations each insisting they alone have the correct interpretations of scripture, while they ALL insist they await the messiah without ever saying he, alone, will either pick one of these 12 out as correct, or explain things quite differently to them all:

    Rev. 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious (Christian) stones. The first foundation was (THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH) jasper; the second, (ORTHODOX EASTERN CATHOLIC CHURCH), sapphire; the third, (LUTHERANS), a chalcedony; the fourth, (EPISCOPALIANS), an emerald;

Rev. 21:20 The fifth, (PRESBYTERIANS), sardonyx; the sixth, (METHODISTS), sardius; the seventh, (THE BAPTISTS), chrysolite; the eighth, (CHURCH OF CHRIST'S DISCIPLES), beryl; the ninth, (UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST), a topaz; the tenth, (LATTER-DAY-SAINTS AND MORMONS), a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, (PENTECOSTALS), a jacinth; the twelfth, (JEHOVAH WITNESSES), an amethyst.

    Anima,... source of woman's Intuition.
Anima is the feminist inside us all:

Luke 17:20-21: Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is, because the kingdom of God is within you.'"

    1) Lucifer = ............... Id
    2) Satan =........ ...........Libido
    3) Mammon = ............ Ego
    4) Devil = .................. Anima

Hmmm,... But we KNOW they did have a "beginning."
And we know a lot of the things mentioned in the Bible describe Reality which is out there,... undeniably.

And we know that Truth describes what exists or actually is Reality.
So God is certainly Reality, and his "son" is Truth, regardless of whether one likes the Bible or not.

    - - - Updated - - -

So that is now a part of our Reality, then?

At least you are honest and have intellectual integrity, as you admitted, that you "assume" something. An assumption is not the same thing as actually knowing a fact.

Lots of people think an assumption is equal to fact. Some even do not know what assumptions underlie views of reality like philosophical materialism.

Is there a way of knowing, what such parameters would be? I think we are back to the question I posed. In order to set a parameter, requires knowing something. In this case, we have to conjecture qualities of god. If we assume qualities without actually knowing....

I can assume that any such Creator, has to lie outside its creation. If I assume that, then there is no logical way for the creation to know its creator. I would have to make another assumption then, if I want the creation to be capable of knowing its creator, or even its qualities. I would have to assume that consciousness in man, is a fragment of the Consciousness that is the Creator. If that assumption is true, then the creation can know the creator, but not in the general sense of what we call knowing. This takes one into mysticism, experiencing the feeling that one is, one with god, one with the creator. So it is knowing by experiencing a state of consciousness that points to this. But that does not equate with what we generally think of when we say we KNOW something. Knowing in the general sense means a duality is involved. I know something that is outside of the me. It is independent of me, stands by itself as separate. So then the I can know that. This is not present in mysticism, the mystical way of knowledge. For in mysticism, since it is a state of consciousness, there is no "me" apart from "that". There is just "that". And this is what is experienced in the mystical state.

So the mystic says, I am It, you are IT, we are IT, he is IT, she is it, they are IT....and that is That. LOL.

Yet the founders, of this field thought differently. Read my signature at the bottom of my post.

The attitude in academia is generally, do not think about implications, just shut up and work the equations. And that has been the fact for a long time. The people that do think about the implications of QM, generally have to retire from academia first, before they can do it. LOL. Or leave academia and go to work for someone like NASA as Tom Campbell did. Academia is very political, and very dogmatic, as many will tell you, as they have told Sheldrake, a scientist, who's book academia said should be burned. LOL. I am sure some in academia would even like to burn him at the stake.

Science can become religion, and begin to look little different from it, when they never question the dogma in science. And if you do question it, which science should do, academia wants to burn your writings, and silence you. Ask Sheldrake about that. He has a site that lays it out.

The only problem I have with what you laid out, the 7 parts of consciousness, is that I cannot observe that in my own consciousness. So, I cannot KNOW what you said to be factual at all. Would you like to know what I can actually observe, when I look within? It is much more simpler than what you or someone else conjectured, since what you posted cannot be observed by each one of us.

So when I observe my own consciousness, I can observe first, memory. And then I can observe that there seems to be a ME separate from that memory. Now, I did say there "seems" to be a me separate, independent from that memory, and its content. But is this a fact? Well, that requires more self observation.

With more observation, and we can all do this and not have to depend upon what another person tells you, there doesn't seem to be a ME, that is separate, independent from the content of memory. Now, what is the content of memory? Well, it is all experiences, that have accumulated in one's life, that is stored in memory. Language, schooling, interactions with others, interactions with the outside world, and the collection of all of this forms what we call the ME. So, I am not separate, nor independent of these memories, in essence I am memory, and there is no ME outside it, or independent of memory. For if I ask you who you are, you will of course start giving me the content of your consciousness, the parts that are thought to define who you are. I am 75 years old, went to college, owned a business, have grandkids, am a progressive, and so on and so forth. All which is the content of memory. I am memory, and there is no ME that can exist outside of that memory.

So this is what I observe, and what everyone can easily observe. Why would I move past that, and create what you created, with the 7 parts of consciousness?

But lets go farther. What exactly is "thought"? Well, when I observe it, it is little more than the response of memory. Thinking relies upon memory, for you cannot think of anything that is not of memory. You cannot think of the unknown. Only of the known. The known is always in memory. So thought is the response of the known, the past, memory. Can that which is of the past, the known, ever think about the unknown? Of course not. You are a slave to the known, and a slave to thought, which is the response of memory.

So, let us move farther. What is the ordinary state of human consciousness? Again, do not depend upon what another says it is, hell, look for yourself. So when the each of us looks, what do we see? We see that our everyday consciousness is one which thought is constantly moving, thinking about something. And occasionally perhaps for a nanosecond, thought can stop moving, but not for long, right? Observe this in yourself, do not take my word for it. So, the other day, I was approaching the crest of a hill at sunset, and as I hit the crest, the sun sitting on the earth, and the valley below, with the way the sun interacts with the view, was so impressive, so beautiful, that my very busy thinking brain for an instant went into silence. Not a thought moving at all. You know what I felt? A sense of beauty, totally absorbed by it, so that for a nanosecond there was no ME at all. There was just the beauty of that sunset. It was utter bliss, no worries, complete peace. Then thought came back in, and said, how beautiful it was, and then memory came in of other sunsets that had been recorded by the brain, and memory compared this one to perhaps one of those others, and which one was more breathtaking, and so on.

So, I observed another state of consciousness. A state in which thought was absent, even if for only a nanosecond. And how that state totally changed my consciousness, so that there was a totally different state of consciousness, apart from everyday, ordinary, thinking consciousness.

And so, that is what I and all can watch, and observe within ourselves. And this must be the starting point for looking into the question of what we can know, and what we think we know, and what we simply cannot know.

So can Truth be held in memory? Can God be held in memory? Or is truth only there when thought, the response of memory is not moving? When thought is silent, and there is no ME at all, only THAT? For with that sunset for a nanosecond, there was no sense of the ME at all. There was just that beauty of the sunset. And it was sufficient, in fact, it was more than suffiecient, and when thought came back in, the beauty suffered, the experience was no longer the same intensity. Perhaps this is where real religion was rooted, at one time? And then thought came in and corrupted the hell out of it? Personally, that is my take on it. So I have little time for your conjecture, you breaking down of consciousness into 7 parts. For I cannot observe it, and therefore it has no validity at all. No offense to you sir.

I'm not saying that no physicists are theists. The fact that one founder in the field is a theist (really more of a pantheist if you read his work) does nothing to change that. And your account of physics/science is worlds apart from the physicist I was speaking of, who talked about the implications of their work on a daily basis.

One of the definitions of 'fact' allows the existence of God. "fact: something believed to be true or real."

It is quite possible to prove the Christian God ( and others written about) cannot exist as written. The Bible(s) are laced with multiple stories that contain impossibilities and very many revised versions exist yet they are claimed to be the words of said God. Also the stories are obviously taken from earlier stories of different Gods that Christians will immediately dismiss as not God.

As seems the normal play by those asked to prove their God to be real....you do not provide and instead turn the question on its head asking we to prove it does not....very disingenuous practice.

So God is Reality since Christ said he was the Truth.
    Right?

    Reality did create everything.
And Truth, to us, explains this.

Prove this and or prove that. Proving something (anything) amounts to showing either evidence or argument. Said evidence or argument requires that either the evidence or argument have the effect of compelling the mind of the individual who has received the evidence or argument to accept that evidence or argument as true.

Test: Of all the things that you believe to be true, or all those things that you believe to be false, can you show proof that they are true? Can you compel my mind to accept those things that you believe/accept as true to actually be true? In this forum it would naturally be restricted to argument, as you, me or anyone else, are incapable of providing physical proof of anything that is within your world view (your localized view of the environment in which you exist) while communicating on this forum.

Scientists have not announced that their own Copenhagen Interpretation requires an Observe to have pre-existed the Universe.
This necessary Creator of the material Universe, by the Copenhagen Interpretation, had to collapse the Wave Functions in order that they would materialize the cosmos.
Hence, though they may not like to speak out here, this science does confirm a Creator existed 13.7 billion years ago.

I can prove God exists simply by proving that African Americans were enslaved.

Can we agree on the fact that...

    1) Slaves were shipped to America on ships, and the North American Slave Trade was the only time in history in which slaves were shipped across the ocean en masse?

    2) Slave owners slept with the wives of other slaves?

    3) Slaves built houses for whites that slaves weren't allowed to live in?

    4) Slaves work in vineyards that they weren't allowed to enjoy the harvests of?

    5) Slaves raised cattle that they weren't allowed to eat themselves?

    6) Anything a slave owned or acquired was taken from them at any given time?

    7) The sons and daughters of slaves were taken away from their parents to work as slaves elsewhere and the slave parents were helpless to stop it?

8 ) That the slaves had no idea what America was before being held captive there?

    9) Slaves suffered under constant oppression and harsh treatment?

    10) That certain slaves went mad over the hardships and tragedy that surrounded them?

    11) That many slaves suffered boils over their bodies under the harsh conditions in which they worked?

    12) The slaves were forced to convert to Christianity, and in later years, African Americans migrated to other religions such as Buddhism and Islam?

    13) That African Americans were the objects of horror, ridicule and mockery?

    14) That America became an even greater nation on the backs of slaves while blacks became less and less as a people?

    15) That African Americans don't own any of the banks in which they could lend money to other patrons?

    16) That African Americans nor their enslaved ancestors had any opportunity to lead this country or any country in which they were enslaved?

    17) The African American slaves language had been forgotten and they were forced to learn English?

18 ) That the African American slaves lived day and night in fear of their captors?

    19) That no one came to save the slaves and free them from bondage outside of political gain?

    20) That we sold ourselves to our captors?

If we can agree on all of this, then I will begin with the point I'm trying to make.

Truth is what "knows the creator."
Truth was right there, In the beginning.
Truth is the "logical way to know the creator."

Man has the ability to know the Truth, and hence it reveals the Creator as Reality, itself.
Man see Reality unfolding continuously, each new Frame representing more information added to all the previous frames of Reality, building up the Truth which we can discover.

The Copenhagen Interpretation of Physics says if we use it at the Big Bang moment in time, every Wave Function required an Observer to exist BEFORE the universe materialized.

Physics people know this, so the seek a Multiverse idea as if that changes to situation, by saying Observers are not necessary.
But only 18% of Physicists believe in this hypothesis.

Copenhagen Interpretation says an Observer had to pre-exist the Big Bang, but you will not a accept that because it shows you are wrong.

Worse though is the fact you deny the Reality unfolds every next frame of existence, and is the image of what men can see as the Truth.
All this, knowing that every species, including mankind, must bow down to the future which Reality is building, by adapting to Reality or becoming extinct.
That ritual of bowing down is worship of Reality, in itself.
