FYI. The industrial revolution is over and there is no longer a need to import massive numbers of unskilled and uneducated labor. When we did need and import massive numbers of immigrants they weren't coming here to get on the dole and get free stuff. I will grant you that the immigrants now coming to the US are certainly more capable of doing hard labor than younger entitled Americans who feel a right to a job that provides self actualization and are generally overweight and lacking in physical fitness

I think Newsom and his overreaching policies are good for CA and the US. Its an example of what happens when dems are in complete control and will get us to the tipping point much sooner. While other governors used the slow "boil the frog" method, Newsom is cranking up the heat!!!

If Mexican culture is so great, then why is Mexico a shithole?

I lived in So Cal for 21 years and there's a lot I can say about the people of Mexican heritage there. The good is they're hard workers but only if they still have some sort of connection to the old country, once they become Americanized they're just as useless as today's white and black kids. The Mexicans in So Cal still carry a strong loyalty to Mexico and seem to side with that country over the USA. Also, the Mexicans in CA contribute to the racial tension in that state.

In El Paso (I used to live there), and then 35 miles north in NM where I live now, the Mexicans are more in tune with being Americans and refer to Mexican nationals as 'those dirty Mexicans.' Unlike CA, they don't fly the Mexican flag here. They're certainly less hostile than the Mexicans in So Cal who still believe that state belongs to Mexico. In El Paso I had the best neighbors I've ever had, I used to go drinking at their homes just about every night - we were able to say things to each other the old fashioned way, no political correctness, just straight up man-to-man insults for hours on end. The thing about El Paso, and a little less here in Las Cruces, is the Mexicans have no respect for black people. They won't go out of their way to start trouble with them, but if they could avoid dealing with them they will. Keep in mind this doesn't apply to every person in El Paso, but it does apply to a lot.

Considering how many people of Mexican heritage live in this area and how few black people there are, there is no racial tension at all. None. Most Mexicans here are not in favor of illegal immigration and want the border sealed and the illegals kicked out. When O'Rourke did that CNN interview on Rim Rd in El Paso and said he would tear down the fence between El Paso and Juarez, that's when he lost the support of his own neighbors.

BTW, I'm Italian and we Italians share a lot of similarities with the Mexicans, a lot. But I would not want this country to have an Italian flavor with the exception of their food and women, I like America just the way she is.

 

Recalls are extremely rare, and he's not even close to the level of unpopularity that Pete Wilson was at. I'm not even sure he's unpopular. The last polling I saw didn't even have him underwater.

 

Personally, I would not sign the petition to recall because I believe we will be better off letting him cause maximum damage.

I have been going surfing down in Mexico for over 40 years. I played baseball down there for 6 years. Mexico is anything but a shithole. I have friends in Ensenada, Tiajuana, Tecate, Los Cabo’s, San Felipe and Rosirito (my dentist is there) who treat me as one of their family, just as I do when any of them or their families come up here. It’s a great country with some of the nicest people in the world. Beautiful women, great food, unbelievable vistas, great Tequila and Cervesa, best fishing and really fun to hang out there. The people there will take you into their homes and treat you like family. Your whole attitude about Mexicans, Mexico and life in general is that of an ignorant tiny minded bigot. Wake up man or you are going to live your whole life as a bitter hateful little man.

 

Yes, California's culture is solely feces on the street. That's it. Just Mexicans and feces. That's all the whole state is.
