California is really losing it. YUGE advancements would be needed in batteries that would power big rig trucks and it would kill, and I mean kill, the long haul industry. If this passes and batteries don't improve, then the ports in LA would be practically forced to move to Oregon or possibly even Mexico. Say good bye to all those jobs and the tax revenue they generate. I expect to hear the unions bitch about this and bitch loudly.

If the ports get moved to Mexico, then we can expect big delays in getting stuff shipped here and I would imagine the smuggling of people and drugs would increase tremendously.

Last year CA wouldn't allow cargo ships to dock if they they didn't meet CA's emissions standards, so ships had to get rerouted. That made no sense to me because the ships were going to emit emissions whether they docked there or not.

I'm trying to figure out the under/over of when CA will ban gas stations, we know its coming, but when?

There really isn't any way to. It's like shooting all the horses before the car has been invented.

You can’t if you want to include logic. But for the unreasonable they will always run in emotion

I don't know what I am going to do. I drive a Ram 2500 diesel and tow a 30 foot 5th wheel toy hauler full of motorcycles to the track and trails. They consider it a commercial vehicle so they can get $900. per year for registration. There are no reliable alternatives.

I drive a 3500 diesel. I pull my camping trailer and Mules around with it. But I’m sure a gasser could do it as well but no electric car can. Electric makes no sense for my lifestyle. Can take up spare cans of electricity with you to the mountains. But I suppose you could take up spare cans of gas and a generator lol. Lots of good that would be for them.

speaking of which, how will liberals deal with emergency generation. Will that still be legal?

Stop figuring. They have an agenda but don't understand its consequences. Or, worse, they do understand them but don't care.

Lol. If the electric cars aren't ready they'll just reverse the legislation.

Well that's pretty revealing ;) I would think it's hardly "If the electric car is ready" but if the power grid is sufficient enough to charge them all every night

Sure there are. Same people who are members of Branch Covidian. They demand everyone to mask up to prevent the spread of a virus weaker than the flu.

Isn't it funny how much people who don't live here think they can tell us who do, all about it.

Pretty sure you're thinking of Texas, where over 700 died so Corps could make more profits winter 2021

Nope, California all the way. It takes a once in a thousand years event for texas to have issues whereas in california blackouts are a way of life.
