Can people really be non-binary? I see it this way: Most men have also some female qualities And most women have also some male qualities. But they are still men and women. That there are human beings with exaxtly 50, 00000 % male and female qualities - that I doubt very much. This non-binary thing is just a stupid fashion of some men and some women who like to think that they are very very special and a lot better then the rest of mankind. And they take themselves for over-important.
I see it as a stupid insult of those self-declared "non-binary" persons to call somebody "binary". Or in other words: We are all binary. Nobody on earth is completely and 100,0000 percent "non-binary".
Of course not. It has nothing to do with bodies, biology, genetics, or reality. It's pure fantasy .. and very often underpinned by narcissism.
For people who really seriously think that they are 100 per cent "non-binary" - there is the nice German word: "über-kandidelt!"
Here I agree. Those self-styled "non-binary" persons say in other words: "I am very very special - and a lot better than you stupid normalos!"
In German the word is "non-binär". Fortunately I do not know anybody personally who is "über-kandidelt" enough to think that he/she/it is "non-binär".

Gender and gender identity, like most things - height hair colour, intelligence etc is a spectrum. At either end of the spectrum are those who are definably of that gender and it fades through to “asexual” “bisexual” trans and the rest of the alphabet. In fact that is why LGBTQ has so many inclusive letters because it is a mix of people along this spectrum.
Its a lot of things. First off, there are legitimate genetic abnormalities where people can have physical traits and chemical processes that are of the opposite gender. These are extremely rare. Then there are environmental factors, such as hormones and hormone mimickers that can cause someone to develope more or more pronounced physical traits and chemical processes more typical of the opposite gender. These are becoming more common, both as medical treatments and as pollutants in our water, air, food, skin products, clothing... But for the most part, its people that are chronically unhappy with who they are and think changing their gender (or making one up) might help. IMO they should be free to try insofar as they are adults and they don't expect everyone else to go along with it. It seems to be more of a symptom of mental illness rather than an illness itself, and I tend to think these people are merely treating a symptom. But I don't know that for sure. I hope they manage to get better in any case. But Im confident that men 'becoming' women to excel at womens sports is not going to help themselves or anyone else in the long run and should not be tolerated.
Sometimes you find yourself in a roomful of people who are ignorant, and take pride in remaining content to stay that way. Those are rooms I leave.
You are right there! And snow-flakes are always on the look-out to claim that they are very very special persons - und not normal "primitive" persons like you and me and the next-door neighbour.
Exactly. Those with genetic mutations in their chromosomes are an entirely different thing and I've stated that many times here. For those people, it is really and truly something they might need help dealing with BUT it is also exceedingly rare for this category of person. These people deserve some help in figuring things out. However, that is not what the blue haired screechers are. These are people who just want to feel special and get attention/recognition they don't deserve as part of the participation trophy generation. This is not to discount those who truly suffer from gender dysphoria, and these people should be helped to recognize the difference between reality and their break with it.
There are two things 1) The physical - Nature 2) Mental - The psychological state of mind of humans When these two misbalance, such things as this non binary crap appears. When it doesn't match, it's a mental illness.
