When a gov't that is supposed to exist so it can be by and for the people, allows a system to be installed where the represenatives of the People get elected by basically legal bribery being involved, you lost any gov't that is by and for the people. Politicians being tied to big donors who pay for their campaigns, corrupts the system completely. For it boils down to a few rich people buying law and policy in their exclusive self interests which can and has been against the best interest of the People, harming the People, even causing suffering and a loss of security.

Money always corrupts all things once it becomes an important factor. It should not be allowed in our election system. But it is said money is free speech. Yeah, but it is like having a room of people, all who want something, but one person has a megaphone and drowns out all other voices. So context has to be added, and when it comes to election laws, it was not added. Which led to complete corruption of a gov't by and for the people. Money, allowing it in, destroyed the gov't by and for the people.

The big rich donors are not donating out of patriotism or their belief in a gov't by and for the People. They are donating so it isn't a gov't by and for the people, but by and for themselves. LOL. Gotta call a spade a spade.

You understand it is already impossible for civilians to buy automatic weapons except in certain circumstances, and with an extensive federal background check, right?

What I remember reading it was all of them. So.......no.

Are you sure that we are talking about the same AboveAlpha?

The one that I am referring to seems to have a pretty extensive gun collection.

Perez missed election on 1st ballot by ONE VOTE.

    214.5 needed. Perez got 213.5.

    Ellison got 200.

    Looks like it's Perez.

So the DNC procession of dysfunction continues. First, Wasserman is forced to resign in disgrace for rigging the Democratic nomination in favor of Hillary. Then, Donna Brazile is caught feeding Debate questions to Hillary. Now, we have a fringe leftist in Perez tasked with bringing back the Democrats to past glory.

LOL.... The DNC is a gift that keeps on giving.

Trump getting elected may be the best thing that's happened for Democrats, because the GOP will self-implode during his presidency. Republicans will lose major ground in the 2018 and 2020 elections.
