I'm a classical liberal. And many classical liberals were influenced by Christian morality which says it's wrong to kill innocent people.

I think this country has turned into a satanic nation whose religion is materialism and whose guiding principle is fear.

I refuse to submit to that type of thinking.

I am not so scared of my enemies that I'm willing to abandon morality and engage in forms of collective punishment that result in the wanton death of innocent people, especially women and children.

If not engaging in those kinds of brutal, immoral practices means I might die at the hands of ISIS, then so be it.

I will not give up my soul or my liberties out of fear.

I honestly have no idea what Obama is really doing.

On the one hand, the US government is supporting rebel groups in Libya and Syria that appear to me to be Salafi terrorists.

And on the other hand, the US government is bombing these same terrorists in multiple countries across the world.

I'm inclined to believe that it's chaos purely for its own sake.

Because whenever there is armed conflict, it creates an opportunity for the acquisition of power and wealth.

Politicians use the chaos to justify more authoritarian government policies and more expenditures on the military-industrial complex.

So Evil hides in civilians? Or perhaps it hides in all of us so there is no prohibition in killing anyone. Original sin anyone!

Carpet bombing is inconsistent with American beliefs? That is surely a joke for anyone who was alive and awake during the Vietnam war.

I will agree that it is abhorrent to kill innocent people in war. Yet that is exactly what we had to do, over and over, in many wars -- most recently in World War II. Depending on which statistic you believe, even when Hitler was at his most popular, not more than 10% of Germans were members of the Nazi Party! So who do you think we were dropping many thousands of tons of bombs on with our day-and-night bombing raids all over Germany? Have you seen the pictures of what the big cities in Germany looked like by the time we were done dropping bombs on them? Regrettable, yes, but that is what it took to win the war! And if we aren't going to even try to win a war then there is absolutely no good reason at all to even get involved in them! Can we at least agree on that?

I don't know exactly what a "classical liberal" is, so I don't know if I convinced you at all. But I do know what Islamo-Nazis are! For years we've seen them shooting, beheading, burning, and torturing people to death wherever they project their power. They beheaded a British soldier on the streets of London... they set off bombs in Boston... they shot and killed people in San Bernardino... on and on and on. So now we have the opportunity to obliterate them, destroy their entire base of operations, and wipe their evil out of humanity... but you want us to fight with both hands tied behind our backs?! Like I said, I don't know what a "classical liberal" is, but I doubt that any of you want to be thrown to your knees and have your head cut off so that some insane bunch of zealots can do the bidding of their idea of what "god" is....
