I could believe that if you were talking about using the entire volume of the stadium, every available free space, including the tunnels and basements. Because otherwise, what you're suggesting is that with our population of over 320 million people, that there are only roughly 75,000 racists in this country, give or take a few thousand depending on the stadium. That number is ridiculously low.

So I hope you meant by volume and not by seating capacity.

    Let's try breaking that down.

Employee handbooks (teachers, janitors, cafeteria workers, etc) are employees. The normally sign an acknowledgement that they have received a 'handbook' that includes statements regarding representation of their employer.

I am not aware of students having to sign an acknowledgement of receiving guidelines of their activities in regards to representation of the school in their personal lives. Are you?

I think it probably hinges more on what you mean by "racists". Do you consider everyone who has ever chuckled about a private joke that played on racial stereotypes to be a racist? Everyone who has ever told a similar joke? Just certified KKK members? Every registered Republican? Something in between? I guess what I'm asking is: what is your definition of what makes a person a "racist"?

Did the students display their racist statement on school grounds? No. Did they do it during school hours? No.

When someone volunteers to chaperone an event, does not mean the event belongs to the employer of the volunteer. Parents quite often volunteer to chaperone prom also, it doesn't make it their employer's event.

My definition would be those who actually have beliefs of any capacity about specific races being inferior to others, or belief in the racist stereotypes that exist. A racist can be anyone from any race, not just white people. Having grown up in rural America with just white racists, I can tell you that once you consider ALL of America including minorities who may be racist against white people and/or other minorities and extrapolate that out, there's no way a 75k seating stadium is going to be remotely enough.

How many black, brown, red and yellow racists do you suppose there are?

I couldn't say, but racists are racists no matter what color you are which is why one stadium is never going to be enough.

I don't think I have any quibbles with much of your definition, just some questions about the highlighted part. What do you mean by that?

I remember when Joe Biden said, "If you don't vote for me, you ain't black". Remember? You were like totally silent... But not today?

I have no doubt that when you made your post it never occurred to you there are other colors that are racist. It’s called the Obama Effect.

My comments IS disingenuous?? Not sure I needed to read much more after that.

But for the 7 zillionth time, my not including EVERY case of possible racism in US History in my OP does NOT indicate my stance on whether or not I think they are racism....

The OP event is racist... and I don't of a single example of anybody who picked a person for a cabinet position only on race..

That one is on the fence, but since it's not really insulting an entire race, it's probably OK..... although she's as pathetic as he is to accept that lame ass ask (would have been awesome if she had pulled out her sign that said "I don't like crackers")

If the rednecks of the world are going to insist on asking girls to prom with a 'picking' analogy, I suggest this...

"If I got COVID because I'm not vaccinated, then I'd be picking my nose... I didn't, so I'm picking you.... Prom??"

Topical, slightly funny, and not racist..... Wins all around...

If you find the thread, likely started by the RW, I'd be glad to point out my posts....

Also, that's not what he said AND he later apologized... Apologies forthcoming here??

You’re right. But people were definitely excluded based on race.

the fact you don’t see your comment as disingenuous then in the same comment defend the exercise of excluding or picking people by race only proves my point. So be honest with yourself and admit that both scenarios is in fact racist. Or continue your hand picked example only.

It’s apparent some on here really don’t care about racism, they only care about punishing white people. Sadly this is also in democrat policies and why they make racists.

The OP is a fine example of exactly that.

I think there will be natural consequences to everybody knowing without doubt they are, at best, racially insensitive and had a lapse in judgement. But in terms of school consequences I think the same standard as applies to harassment in general should apply. Does it create a "hostile work environment" in which persons who are black have trouble functioning in school because of racism? I don't think this could qualify for that, at least not on its own. If comments like these were taken to school grounds, especially regularly, it would clearly constitute that, however. Rights come into conflict and must be balanced against each other. The right to free speech on one hand, and the right to feel safe at a place you must be (school) on the other hand.

Isn't that what CRT is teaching kids, that whites still want all blacks to be picking cotton?

He apologized? Really? When? Did he apologize when he said Obama was clean, and articulate, you know, for one of them...? You have a lot of adoration for someone who obviously is such a racist.

Next morning, as I interpret the article I read about it...

Other than Jill and his kids, I don't know anybody that has adoration for Joe Biden, just general respect for somebody who has given so much to this country...

Joe's not the recipient of very much "general respect" these days either.
