You are only identifying one aspect of the issue.

So many programs exist that allow young women to have children out of wedlock and support themselves. Adopting my kids from DCFS care, I saw first hand how these young women see the State and the social programs as a game of "how much can I get". Pop out another kid, and I can double my SNAP! Have another baby, and I can double the Section 8 voucher value.

These aren't accidental pregnancies, which is why your immediate run to abortion makes no sense. These are intentional and desired pregnancies. My daughters came to our house at ages of 6 and 3, and already somebody had instilled in them that once they get to high school they need to start having children as a means of "getting ahead".

The left doesn't like to admit that their emotionally based policies CREATE more of what they support.

If you incentivize and activity, then you get more of it.

It's a severe problem. These young women have zero concern about the financial impact of having a kid, nor what it does to their own future. All they know is popping out a baby gets them free money.

 

You seem to think these people are victims of these things. They are not.

In certain cultures, they have embraced the idea of a welfare queen seeing ones ability to obtain benefits as bragging rights.

I don't disagree with your desire to fix those things. It's the blame and responsibility I have an issue with.

These people are being held down, they are holding themselves down.

Making them victims, as you have done, is simply a lazy way to avoid the actual problem and pawn off responsibility on everybody else. It is now a generational cultural issue that exists.

We have failed to properly educate people to enter the workforces.

We have failed at encouraging self reliance over dependance.

We have failed at promoting career and technical skills or college

We have failed at identifying the importance of dual parent households

We have failed to provide real world skills

We have encouraged and glamorized instant success and easy money


Overall, we have now created engrained generational dependance. It's a massive problem.

Tell us what forms of ID those are. Like there are 5 million forms of ID and these states are selecting the ones blacks cannot obtain. A driver's license for crying out loud!
