That's not true. Muslims believe that the Jews were the recipients of an earlier revelation.. Muslims revere the patriarchs back to Adam including Moses and Abraham. Why do you think the protected the holy places for 2000 years?

Therefore, your claim about the first one is obsolete is invalid because it is not in the Gospels. On top of that the characters in the Gospels were not Christians.
