Hmm...looks like Christie's "Stronger than the Storm" ads were paid for with Sandy relief funds, were purposefully done during the election, and they chose a company that cost millions more than the other bidder and chose to include Christie in the ads, unlike the lower bidder. Hmm....

and oh yeah, the money came from Sandy relief funds, which is NOT supposed to be used for political campaign ads!!!!!

I disliked Christy from the time he allowed Obama to come and assess the damage after the storm. Something Obama used to his full political advantage. Mayor Bloomberg told the President not to come since it would take time and money away from the damage, and Bush wouldn't visit New Orleans for the same reason. .. Yet here was Christie, willing to have the President visit with all the security and money it entails, and making it appear as if Obama was more concerned than Pres. Bush was over New Orleans. This double cross by Christy is one of the reasons we ended up with another four years of the Obama failure.

Anyway Christy comes across like a 'thug', which might have been to the advantage of the U.S....especially after someone as weak as Obama, but his character and integrity would suit the Democrats I think more than the Republicans. :gop:

Wonder how many "stories" like this one are going to surface between now and 2016.

Then it would be great to measure it against all the extensive "journalism" produced for Obama. A numbers comparison chart would be hilarious.

Christie apparently used funds inappropriately the far right wing blame Obama.

So funny. I also love that this is about 2016. Conspiracy believers like birthers and truthers really hate reality.

In the last elections, Christie arose suddenly at the last minute as the best candidate, but Republicans stop him because they selected Romney already.

That was what is called "bad judgement".

Christie should have beat Obama and won the elections. Christie is smarter than Obama, his mouth run better than Obama's, his vision is wider than Obama's.

Lets see if today Christie enjoys power enough to come out free of this scandal. If he does, then Democrats won't have any chance in the next elections.

It was a tourism ad, and it's not uncommon for the governors of any particular state to show their faces in tourism ads.

A phony scandal for the "phony scandal" crowd. Fortunately, a U.S. ambassador wasn't killed during the filming of the ad...:bored:

it is uncommon for the lowest bidder of a contract to LOOSE the bid, infavor of a contractor that bid millions more, and the only significant difference is that the higher bid wanted Christy in the ad and the lower bidder didn't.

    hmm....

I don't know enough about this phony scandal to determine what the significant differences were, and unless you were part of the review process I doubt you know, either.

Fortunately, an American ambassador wasn't killed during the filming of that ad nor did the IRS apologize for illegally targeting civic groups on account of their particular ideology...

the lowest bidder didn't include Christie in the commercial.

the winning bidder, that cost millions more, DID include the Fat Man.
