It’s no different. Can’t prosecute someone for calling someone else an illegal alien, any more than you can prosecute someone for calling someone else a nazi, nig**r etc. sorry.

An illegal alien = criminal. And this is also calling the cops on a criminal = swatting.
You can't be calling the cops on a person just because it's a nazi.

Maybe you need to read up on what defamation is.

Wow, you've finally admitted that your statement " "I know in the UK you cannot say anything negative about Islam" is wrong. There are negative statements about Islam published every day in various newspapers and said by many, including prominent MPs, TV celebrities, radio DJs, and no one has been prosecuted for giving their opinion. The daily Mail published negative statements about Islam almost daily especially when ISIS was in the news. The ex-UKIP leader regularly gave public negative statements about Islam which led to many UKIP members leaving the party because they said the party had become more like Britain First. Nigel Farage left because he saw that the party had a racist agenda. The party still exists because they have not broken any laws

The problem with protecting people from being offended is that they don't get any practice. When it happens, they will lose control!

First a bit of common sense. These illegals have all broken our national sovereignty laws by entering this country illegally or over-staying their visas. Next a massive percent of them are breaking identity theft laws. And then they are driving our streets without licenses and auto insurance. And then of course illegals are the source of the opiates flowing across our southern border, where most of the heroine in our country is arriving from.

"According to the FBI, 67,642 murders were committed in the U.S. from 2005 through 2008, and 115,717 from 2003 through 2009. The General Accounting Office documents that criminal immigrants committed 25,064 of these murders.

Illegal immigrants clearly commit a level of violent and drug related crimes disproportionate to their population."

The fact remains that they disproportionately break our laws, including violent criminal behavior in spite of your anecdotal evidence fallacy.

It's telling that hardly anyone bothered to read the actual instances where this ban applies but immediately attack it:

Nonsense from every study I had seen.

Repeating Trump and company falsehoods does not turn those falsehoods into facts.

Do you seriously deny that all illegals are by very definition breaking the law? Do you seriously deny that identity theft is rampant in the illegal alien community?

Answering this since I didn't see any other responses to your post on the first page.

Actually that is only one part of the definition. Merrium-Webster Dictionary ~ Alien

Yes, it will be shot down by the courts.

I'm sure he too is fond of the person that taught him how to cross the border undetected, elude ICE agents and the naturalization process is also very special to him too ;)

You know that is false right? The only way that they come up with those numbers is by cherry picking crimes. If they included ALL crimes then every single illegal alien that is in the country illegally has...guess what...committed a crime. The very words "illegal" alien shows that they are not in the country legally. Being in the country illegally IS a crime. Which is of course why those that support illegal aliens have tried their utmost in changing what they are called to "undocumented immigrant". Because that doesn't show that they are here in the US illegally, IE: Broke the law.

Not only that but 75% of working age illegal aliens use fraudulent SSN's to obtain work. That is a felony. If there's 11 million illegal immigrants in this country that is about 8.25 million people committing a felony. Most, 98%, use their own names with stolen SS numbers. A lot of which come from children. Please show me where 75% of US citizens commit crimes.

The case in NY was a landlord who reported an illegal alien who refuse to pay rent.

Where's the hate? Sound like a cold, calculating business decision to me.

If there was a landlord who had a legal-resident deadbeat tenant who had an arrest warrant out on them, and that landlord reported that tenant to the police, is that a matter of hate too?

Correction: It will be shot down by judges who adhere to the Constitution. To assume that all judges, after what we have seen over the past decade, are going to uphold the Constitution is being naive.

This is a poster child situation where New York is giving the country a dose of what...

Once again, we see the truth of the statement, "He who controls LANGUAGE also controls the ISSUE!" PERCEPTION IS REALITY... especially to poorly-educated people....

Not all are dangerous to our society, just a disproportionate number. And they all ignore our laws by definition.

You mean like Trump and his employees who knowingly hired illegal workers for Trump businesses?

If there was not a need and a demand for their labor they would not be here in the first place.

This is also about swatting. And calling a person a criminal out of the blue, because of the color of their skin.... defamation it is.

Does that change the fact that there are defamation laws in the US?

    Which I’ve addressed already.

    .
Nope. Not punishable as that would violate the first amendment.

You seem to not know what a defamation law is.
