    I guess we won't see any of the Republican Senators who are doing this being dragged in front of the cameras by Trump pledging their loyalty and fan base adoration to the public, like he made his Cabinet members do.

    Remember that Flynn and Kushner were close.. and Trump knew on November 10, 2016 that Flynn had lied about his meetings with the Russians. He probably knew BEFORE Obama told him in private because Kushner was with Flynn..

    Trump has ZERO respect for his peers. Republican Senators are not going to allow Trump to lift sanctions on Russia. Imagine that.

    Its could be called a vote of no confidence, or it could be construed as "stop this idiot".

    Be sure to watch Sessions today. He is appearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee in an open hearing. That is the same Senate committee that heard Comey last week.

    That was defining classification of national security information. Kindly show me where in that EO it defines a memo about a meeting with the President to discuss an FBI investigation into a former member of his staff as being "classified".

    Read through the Obama EO. The President decides whether conversations with him are classified. This came into play in the testimony of Sessions, Coates, and Rogers before the Senate committee. Comey published his account of the conversation without approval from the President.

    Please show something that demonstrates that President Trump classified his discussions with Comey. From your legal expertise point of view, please.

    Agreed,the Jeff Session's testimony today was a friggin joke--I stopped watching after Angus King's questioning-Angus asked Sessions " Did the President evoke Executive Privilege to your questioning here today" Answer of Sessions "NO"----Angus King asked "then why are you not answering our questions"--Session's answered " Because the President has a right to privacy of private conversations"-- Angus King says " You can't have it both ways"----- Not only that Session's has a very good memory on some things, but on others he simply can't remember---

    It is clearly so stated in the EO. The President can declare whatever he wants to be classified unless someone illegally leaks that information. This is Obama's EO.

    Fascinating. And a sign of Tourettes that you keep repeating the same thing. I didn't ask you to post, yet again, the Obama EO. I asked you to produce something that confirms that President Trump classified his meeting with Comey. You didn't. The end.

    As I explained previously, Trump did not have a chance to classify Comey's memo because Comey leaked it before Trump even knew it existed. The end.

    The Obama administration wrote and used Executive Order 13526 of December 29, 2009 multiple times during the Obama Presidency. They would not even show up for hearings. Why has Susan Rice not agreed to testify ??

    Because Trump was mad at Sessions for recusing himself in the FBI Russian investigation and because Sessions offered to resign, and Trump refused the offer, I thought the Sessions testimony would be interesting.

    It wasn't. It was what you might expect from a committee dominated by Republicans examining a Republican A.G. and protecting a Republican President. Of course, Sessions denied any cooperation with the Russians even though he lied at his Senate confirmation hearing about meeting with the Russian ambassador. He refused to testify about any conversations he had with Trump. In terms of his interactions with Comey, he more or less confirmed what Comey said. He did not dispute anything Comey said. Albeit those factors, there wasn't much Sessions had to offer.

    That said, I gained a healthy respect for Sessions. He is a pretty sharp dude. Sure wish he were our President instead of that other guy.

    It wasn't classified because Comey leaked it without the President's approval. He should be prosecuted for that act.

    Susan Rice's refusal is a confirmation of the use of Executive Order 13526 of December 29, 2009.
