    Paulbots still dont get .
IOWA was a fixed election and moving up To 2ND PLACE ! is not good enough.
IOWA is over..and Paul didn't win..he wont win NEVADA either..and the spin will be in that he FINISHED 2ND !

Paul is not 2nd on voters minds..Romney is.
Romney is being voted FIRST by many and OBAMA 2nd !
In what truly matters..voter support...not mythical magic.

I admire Paul for standing what he believes in and his supporters.
If I felt it was the right vote for him..I would cast it so.

His RECORD or lack there of disqualifies him in my mind...and many others.
He is no different than a REED who votes against majority of opinion and remains in office due to a safe district .
He has a 30 years track record of talk..Talk is not what we need.

He will never get the Republican endorsement for President.
Mondale..Ted Kennedy..on the dem side never got elected..where does Paul stand in history with them ? :blankstare:

How about libertarian congressmen..? Is Paul the longest serving ?
    NO ..

    HE endorsed ROMNEY !

So among Republican Congress men who has endorsed Ron Paul ?
    CRICKETS ?

You need support to be an effective President.
Paul doesn't have it. :twocents: is the true economy under Paul support.

Its not over till its over, deal with it bots!

Okay Bourne I got what your saying, Paul is a functional ineffective who has no congressional support. We got that. I agree with you. No need to post that anymore.

Where does your bff Romney stand on:
    The Bush bailouts?
The banking management not being replaced?
The reinstatement of the glass-steagall act?
    The demerger of Citigroup?
    The Obama stimulus?
    Starting unprovoked wars?
    Minnimum wage?
    Corporate tax evasion?
    Abortion?
    Same sex marriage?
    The second amendment?

A couple of questions for everyone.

    1) Should special interest groups be allowed to lobby (give money to) court judges to influence the judges' decision on an ongoing case?

    2) Who thinks Bourne has a life-sized cardboard cutout of Romney hanging on his ceiling above his bed?

functional ineffective functional ineffective functional ineffective functional ineffective functional ineffective functional ineffective functional ineffective

By the way Bourne, you can't use an adjective to describe another adjective. Adjectives can only modify nouns.

    EXAMPLE
Most of the U.S. Congress is FUNCTIONALLY INEFFECTIVE at not taking money from special interest groups, thus making them bought and paid for.

    or

Most of the U.S. Congress is FUNCTIONALLY EFFECTIVE at taking money from special interest groups, thus making them bought and paid for.

If Ron Paul just vetoed every single piece of legislation that hit his desk from the corrupt fools who typically get elected to Congress, then he would be a smashing success as President.

If Ron Paul won the Presidency - of course Congress would support him.

If a dog won the Presidency, Congress would support it.

Congress will follow ANYONE OR ANYTHING the voters tell them to follow.

    Why?

Because 90+% of those in Congress are spineless, power hungry, wimps - IMO.

They don't care about America a tiny fraction as much as they care about retaining power.

your correct on the last two parts, congress being spineless, power hungry wimps and only about retaining power but they wouldnt support him. Here is why.pay close attention to this video and when it gets close to the 3 minute mark.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/political-opinions-beliefs/230325-obamas-isreal-ties.html

You hear them cheering for that Israel prime minister. most of congress is only interested in serving wall street and isreal.Ron Paul would not give aide to isreal, therefore congress would not support him like they would the other big three candidates Romney,Santorium and Gingrich.
