The folks over at uber-progressive Vox have put forth the incredibly stupid idea that Fox News is basically controlling the news cycle, and that the role of journalists is that of gatekeeper. Yes, that journalists should decide what's fit for the rest of us to consume, that they should decide what news is of importance. The video is pretty unbelievable, Vox is absolute garbage. Thank God Vox is so unwatchable, and thank God for folks like Crowder who have the patience to sit through this garbage and eviscerate it.
I have never watched this God news. Probably will never do so again. It is true that Fox cable news is number 1, but they do not control whY news we hear. CNN and MSNBC attempt to control what we hear by not presenting both sides of an issue. They are so Progressive that I don't bother to watch them. As I watch cable news I filter what they say because I watch c-span hearings and make my own decisions. The news is so biased that we can't take anything the way at face value. But, as far as cable news goes, I find Fox to be the most truthful. Especially Dana Perino. Brett and Sheppard Smith. And Tucked always has an opposing guest.
The very few times I've watched Vox it seemed like that's who they thought they were. I mean much of the left comes across as a bunch holier than thou BS artists but VOX takes it to a whole new level. I can get through about five to ten minutes of of MSNBC without wanting to through something at the sanctimonious twit on the screen but VOX is so disconnected from reality that they should call it MSNBCLSD
