I was well schooled to own such books as you want to discuss and understand them.
I was training in the field of Physics and Engineering. Books on Statistical analysis are easily purchased as I did.

The hockey stick is an embarrassment to math.
It takes super long time spans and overlaps tiny changes to temperature in a way to make the gains of temperature look alarming.
I remind you when you bring in firewood and lay it close to your fireplace, the rapid change of temperature, from outside to inside, far more than one degree, does not set that wood on fire.
We are supposed to believe a degree F will cause forest fires.
    Bunk. That is not science.

Worse is the voodoo science we see from our Domestic warriors, our Democrats.

They have whined over this for a quarter century. Time for them to show they control climate.
Maybe you in your country are more forgiving. I do not like liars who lie about science.

I am being blamed. By you of all people on this planet. You claim you can control climate? Then do it.

    It is not a problem.

What could have been called a problem was the warming that uncovered enormous amounts of North America when melting our then existing glaciers. We have the Great Lakes due to warming. By nature. And I like those Great Lakes, thank you.

How long ago was that “well schooling”?
And I note you have no references for your claims

    https://wires.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/wcc.53
But why muck around with out of date models - the latest report is now out

    https://www.ipcc.ch/report/sixth-assessment-report-working-group-i/

THAT a is what everyone needs to read and address

I blame BB since she alleges she is the expert on climate yet here she is, adding to the poor climate and not stopping the problem.

And did you read the IPCC? My point stands though - curry is ONE person whilst there were multiple authors of the IPCC reports

Now let us look at the author of this piece - who is NOT a climate scientist but an economist

    http://ossfoundation.us/projects/environment/global-warming/myths/ross-mckitrick

Seems he has a particular penchant for posting articles with low credibility

I have never alleged to be an “expert” but mate I do know more than you do on the subject and……

Anyway I follow the science which means I no not play around citing people who are afflicted with big oil interests posting on blogs

oh! Please do! I have been trying to encourage you to read these reports for a long time!

We no longer need your services since you turned your case over to experts.

I started reading them when they began to be published.

So you believe she does is wrong because she is a climate expert? And as you say, you are no expert.

    That is not the question

The question is WHY should I read Curry? She is ONE person - the IPCC has over one hundred authors all of whom are climate scientists

ONE contrarian versus more than one hundred - and that is not counting the authors of the papers THEY have cited

Oh! And if there are such glaring errors as the author of Curry’s blog piece Ross McKitrick suggests (yes I did read it) then why did he not follow the process for alerting the IPCC shown here

And you still have not read the IPCC
You blame me for not reading Curry and when I went one further and examined the post and found it to be twaddle you still have refused to even try to do then same. You don’t have to read the whole report - just the summary for policy makers

I'm thinking some people have too much time on their hands to be worrying about this stuff.

How does that work, exactly? :eyepopping:

I'd like to see any human try to stop the thunder I heard earlier.

    G'luck with that! :salute:

Owait, they want money, huh? Yeah, no.

No in fact they don’t “want the money” and if you had even taken the 20 minutes needed to read the summary for policy makers you would have a better idea of what this is all about
