    The US is the US and Canada is Canada. Sounds like desperation to me. ButbI am curious as to how someone like yourself who claims to be spiritual and religious could posdibly support Trump and still pretend to have any morals or decency.

    You all do realize that Trudeau stopping funding for groups that oppose abortion is the mirror image of the US where Trump and the Republicans have banned funding for groups that support abortions.

    You think we'd elect somebody who would "give in" to a dickhead like Trump? WE all know he can dish it out, and so far he has given the world every indication he can't take it.

    Witness his pitiful performance at the G7. Poor donnie "every one smiling at him" and he thought he was winning. Apparently he's too self centered to realize the smiles were those for the "idiot cousin being an idiot".

    Quite frankly, Trudeau has come across as a man with class. The way he came across when Trump ruthlesssly attacked his country, the empathy he has expressed toward families at the border, this hit piece you quote on him isn’t going to stick. Can we have Justin Trudeau as our President? We need an actual adult in office.

    Trudeau isn’t going to destroy the Democratic Party in 2018.

    When there are 4.3 trillion USA petro- dollars involved.......
    if.... Canadian political leaders would indeed cooperate with their
    counterparts in America, Israel and Australia to prevent the devaluation of the
    USA dollar.........

    But holy batman-bajeezus, when did Canada become basically a Fascist state?

    Not letting people believe what they want to or speak how they want to? Wow, that is seriously terrifying, I definitely would never want to live in Canada.

    other than the nutty religious right-wing....NO ONE CARES....it's a non-issue, those who do would never vote outside their extreme right social conservative base anyways who never vote anything but conservative....so it won't cost the liberals anything in the way of votes...

    Provides for Treasury Sanctions Against Malign Actors Worldwide

    Washington – Today, the Trump Administration launched a new sanctions regime targeting human rights abusers and corrupt actors around the world. Building on the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act passed by Congress last year, President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order (Order) today declaring a national emergency with respect to serious human rights abuse and corruption around the world and providing for the imposition of sanctions on actors engaged in these malign activities. In an Annex to the Order, the President imposed sanctions on 13 serious human rights abusers and corrupt actors. In addition, the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), acting on behalf of the Secretary of the Treasury, in consultation with the Secretary of State and the Attorney General, imposed sanctions on an additional 39 affiliated individuals and entities under the newly-issued Order.

    “Today, the United States is taking a strong stand against human rights abuse and corruption globally by shutting these bad actors out of the U.S. financial system. Treasury is freezing their assets and publicly denouncing the egregious acts they’ve committed, sending a message that there is a steep price to pay for their misdeeds,” said Secretary of the Treasury Steven T. Mnuchin. “At the direction of President Trump, Treasury and our interagency partners will continue to take decisive and impactful actions to hold accountable those who abuse human rights, perpetrate corruption, and undermine American ideals.”

    As a result of today’s actions, all of the assets within U.S. jurisdiction of the individuals and entities included in the Annex to the Order or designated by OFAC are blocked, and U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with them.
