I do not think so, but even if this happens there is not a big deviation for an airplane from the strait line from Moscow to Simferopol. Yes, I think Absolut is much better. But this is a question of taste :)

Why do you in post about Crimea gives us video of Kiev two month ago? How this confirms your statement that everything is so bad in Crimea? I imagine people there whining "Oh come on! No MacDac??? We did not expect that. Lets join Ukraine back. Please... I wana cheeseburger, but not with Omsk cheese..."

Also under that video is link to article. Deputy of Udar party says that they are captured one of the snipers and he is not from police or special forces. But as far as i know no one of the snipers still wasn't shown and still no any names. Hmmm

New route Moscow-Simferopol for airplanes makes a hook and goes aside Ukraine over Rostov city. Time of flight became one hour longer.

Ya maybe during the period of hyperinflation when their own currency was literally worth less than toilet paper due to decades of Soviet occupation and economic mismanagement.

Do you have Boston Market in Europe? It's about the only fast food chain that could be considered real food as far as I am concerned, meatloaf, rotisserie chicken, etc. Subway likewise makes an edible product but it's still pretty processed meat and I'll still go with Publix deli chicken and sandwiches over either and their southern style potato salad is killer, but I don't think publix goes past the Mason-Dixon line let alone across the pond. The fried chicken from the Walmart deli is not as good as Publix but still superior to KFC. Regardless if I'm not shopping at the market I'll eat fresh and local restaurant food whenever I can.

Boston Market? I haven't heard of that but it sounds good. I used to live in the Finsbury Park area of London and I used to frequent a cheap Middle-Eastern deli-style cafe that served delicious food that sounds like what you describe. When I was in LA, I went to the Farmers Market and thought it was terrific. Not fast food, I know but I thought I'd mention it. We have Subway here but I don't really like it that much. Here are my favourite gastronomic cities/regions that I've visited:

    New Orleans
    San Sebastian (Spain)
    Bangkok
    Istanbul
    Beirut
    Toliara (Madagascar)
    Goa (India)
    Bejing

Actually, these places were the cheap option for workers and the food was really good. Last time I visited Poland was about 5 years ago and these places still exist but are less plentiful. You can still get a good meal for about £2 even in the tourist cities like Krakow and Warsaw. My sister lives in a beautiful city called Pesc in Hungary. You can still find these canteen-style places that serve delicious 3 course lunches for about £3.

    This is Boston Market:

    http://www.bostonmarket.com/ourFood

It's real food that's about 2 bucks more than a value meal at say McDonald's, Burger King, or KFC and it isn't fried grease and "meat" product. I like Subway mainly because of their $5 footlong deal since it's quick, will fill me up, and won't make me feel like a lethargic fat POS after I'm done but I'd rather have a Publix Deli Sub for a dollar more with Boers Head Meat, that or my corner Cuban sandwich shop.

Ya they have a farmers market at our local flea market (just looked up Farmers Market LA and it sounds pretty awesome but I meant an actual farmers market lol).

The only places I've been to outside of the U.S. are in South America, North America (Mexico) and the Caribbean and I ate on the cruise ships and only drank in the countries but I have been to Epcot Center and you can experience cuisine from around the world though I have nothing to compare it to as far as authenticity is concerned but I do live in a culturally diverse area with many Cuban, Greek, and Italian owned restaurants, family shops run by first, second, and third generation immigrants. Cuban is my favorite type of fresh and local food by far, give me some slow cooked Mojo Pork, yellow rice, black beans, and fresh baked Cuban bread and I'm good, you can get like a pound of food for $5. I actually work at a Greek owned Pizza place, fresh pies not that frozen nonsense you get from say Pizza Hut and the like and we have a lot of Greek items as well; such as, Gyros, Souvlakis, Baklava, etc. but my favorite Pizza is still a Chicago style deep dish. You can't go wrong with a locally caught smoked mullet and honey mustard dipping sauce either. :)

There's a couple local Thai restaurants that are pretty good and I prefer their curry dishes to that of the Indian place, the one time I ate at the Indian place they totally over seasoned it and the lamb ended up tasting exactly the same as the rice, the Thai places were really good though.

You just change the subject when you have nothing to answer. Typical propagandist.

Yes additional hour of flight probably means more fuel and maybe higher price but not necessary. I don't know exact old and new price.

You seem to have a good palette. I visited a Cuban place in New Orleans and couldn't believe the size of the portions they served. It was all good though. That's one thing that stands out in the States compared to other places, is the sheer amount that they put on the plate. As for Cuba itself, the food, as you might expect is disappointing. Havana is a magical place, but you have to pay through the roof for any decent food. Having said that I did find a fantastic 'local' restaurant relatively free of the tourist hordes but you have to be prepared to search them out. Back to New Orleans: I have fond memories of my time in that awesome city - absolutely loved the place, everything about it. For me, food plays a major role in my enjoyment of places I visit and New Orleans is one of the worlds greatest gastronomic cities. I rank it as good as anything I've found in any of the cities of Basque Spain. Many French tourists spend weekends in San Sebastian over the border in the Pyranees solely to sample the food. That's an indication of how good it is. I agree with you about Indian food. In the UK, curry has become our national dish but I rarely eat it. It's become a kind of generic experience rather than an authentic one. Most of the "Indian" restaurants are actually owned by Bangladeshi's and the food is very glutenous and overrated IMO. As you say, Thai curry's are far better, especially green coconut based curries, the spicier the better. The food in Thailand is awesome, especially the street food. The best fish I've had was in Goa, especially the swordfish which is caught in front of you and grilled right there on the beach, served with a butter and lemon sauce. We have a lot of Turkish and Greek places here in North London and the former are all extremely good, the latter not so much so. It's funny, but the best fish and chip restaurants here are owned by Greeks.

    what are you talking about,?

additional hour means always more of everything and always higher [/B]prices, but i am 100% sure that a Vatnik is willing to pay to people for using this tour (from pension fond)

I'm not saying that it will be the same or lower. I don't know. But maybe you know that price is not a direct representation of self-value of something. Usually prices are set much higher then product/service costs in fact. Because price is amount of money that average man can afford to pay for certain product/service. This gives to sellers a space to play with prices. Sometimes prices can be set even lower then self-value of product/service. For example to compete with others or for advertising purposes. I think it is a basics of economy.

I'm not an expert and just tell what i think.

From one side i see a lot of patriotic commentaries from Russians who said "this year i will spend my vacation in Crimea". Also many of them use cars not planes to travel to Crimea.

From other side any region with any kind of unrest became less attractive to visit. Especially if there will be some provocations or terroristic acts during spring or summer. Also i think some Ukrainians who used to spend summer in Crimea may not be able to do that this year. Now you need to cross boundary, train tickets can be more expencive because it is route to other country. Also we have unstable economic situation so it is a risk to spend money for vacation. Situation in Crimea is also not perfect. They are on some kind of transition period.

Summarize I tend to think that this season will not be most profitable for Crimea.

That's what is good about living in the Tampa Bay area there are numerous Cuban owned restaurants, they are all authentic and generally all affordable with large portions.

I've been to New Orleans twice and Creole cooking is pretty great, I make a pretty decent shrimp Jambalaya myself, my parents go to New Orleans and Beluxi quite regularly and always bring back some good spices and sauces. And of course as I live in Florida fresh gator tail battered and fried is always on the menu.

The green coconut shrimp curry dish that I get at the Thai place is pretty great. I, also, go to a local sushi place that is owned by a Kyoto trained chef, and they have some pretty good stuff and their saki and Japanese beer was pretty great. I've been meaning to check out this Tapas place down in St. Pete that I hear good things about.

I live near the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs which has a large Greek population so lots of good authentic Greek owned restaurants.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarpon_Springs,_Florida

The best restaurant I ever worked for was actually Turkish owned but they didnt serve Turkish cuisine which I've never had, I imagine it would be similar to Greek food though?

The price of flight from Moscow to Simpheropol currently is quite low-6500-7500 rubles (around 140-150 euros round trip).
