Parents who criticize CRT have to worry about the FBI and now threats of violence for their speaking out. Go figure. I hop the DOJ takes this man more seriously than the school board did. No parent has threatened anybody the way this man did. Why would a man threatening others with an army that’s locked and loaded yet silence or interrupt other parents with concerns?

This type of language is wrong. No one should be threatening anyone. This is uncomfortably close to threats.

The main point of contention that Malikk (?) Austin presented at the meeting seems to be revealed in his statement:

"For those who got an issue with this critical race theory equity, this is something I fight for, for my children"
"How dare you come out here and talk about the things that my daddy and my grandparents went through, the lynching, the oppression, Jim Crow, and my kids are still being afflicted by this."

It would be helpful to all if Mr. Austin would describe in some detail the manner in which "my kids are still being afflicted with this".
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 have been fully in force for many years, and the only discrimination that currently exists in the United States is seen in 'reverse-discrimination' ("affirmative action") programs, and government 'set-aside' contracts which can -- by law -- be awarded only to companies owned by listed MINORITIES.... One wonders, then, if Mr. Austin is upset because his children are the indicated beneficiaries of any of this...?

It might also have been useful in the overall context of the school board meeting if someone had bothered to mention that, unfortunately, a review of history shows that 'man's inhumanity to man' is as old as mankind itself... moreover, slavery has been illegal in the United States for more than 156 years!

Threatening people with a thousand "soldiers ready to go", who are "locked and loaded" is, indeed, a threat which should be investigated thoroughly by the police!
