Majority of kids HATE history classes, yet somehow they're going to be interested in CRT enough to be "indoctrinated"?

School subjects aside, how many on this forum liked their teachers enough to ignore what they had been taught by their parents, in regards to political leanings, and adopt their teachers beliefs? I'm gonna guess ZERO.

For most kids, teachers are the bad guys. No kid likes the very people who give out homework, tests, and scold them when they act up. I hated many of my teachers....the last thing I would have ever been is influenced by them. And that is true for majority of people.

 

Really?? You think setting in a class room six hours a day, five days a week and nine months a year for twelve years in a learning environment does not leave a lasting impression? And somehow, you think that your parents are going to wipe all that out of your mind?

 

The parents are starting to speak up and they are angry over the teaching of CRT. Never get in the way of an angry mob. And they have every right to be angry. Too many left-winger morons running school boards. CRT is bizarre.

I didn't particularly like history, doesn't mean I didn't retain the information I was taught.

 

My point was about the "indoctrination" argument.

 

What would it be called if the left who is always preaching against alleged bigotry, discrimination and racism were the ones to actually promote and practice blatant bigotry, discrimination and racism. It's like an episode of Saturday Night Live in Hades, except it isn't a joke.

 

Very true. Most kids get more influenced by their friends, rather than teachers or parents, especially when the kids enter the teenage years. Don't ask me how I know (my son and his Trumper friends).

You make an excellent point! I have to keep refreshing my memory by doing a google search of the definition of CRT every time it pops up here at PF. It isn't something I hear or read about - except here. And here, its a BFD!!!

 

Evidently you don't live in America since this CRT racist indoctrination is gaining speed throughout our public schools. It may very well be that you haven't seen or heard about just how dangerous this movement is if you were to only watch and listen to the propaganda fake news outlets that permeate the lame stream media.

 

If CRT is correct then many sports are racist, since most sprinter and long distance champions are black, and the NFL and NBA are crammed with black athletes.

 

Or, perhaps there are some of us who believe that institutional racism does exist in the US - so CRT isn't the bogey man that others think it is...

 

Institutional racism as alleged by leftists is nothing more than another political talking point used to push the sick race dividing agenda of those on the LEFT from obama to this current administration. If there is any such thing as institutional racism then it comes in the form of those joining in with the BLM and CRT movements to cancel and or defame whitey.

 

Well, the very fact that you and your buddies here on PF post about CRT on a daily basis, is more than enough proof that I need to ignore your hair-on-fire arguments over it, but it does bring me enormous joy to see you guys with your panties in a bunch.
