So because they're rare they should be decriminalized?

And we're taking comparatively rare here, as in compared to tens of thousands of abortions. A big number can still be rare if conpared to a much bigger number.

Hmmm how come when I click the quoted post to see where you got this it does not link back to any post of mine?

Alter my posts in the quote and you WILL be reported

Why? It is not about you. It is about the fact that countries throughout the world are moving to decriminalise abortion

I simply quoted part of the article you quoted.

I wasn't aware the new version of this forum allows quotes inside quotes, if that was the issue.

Seems like you're being kind of nitpicky. Can you explain why you took issue with that?

Maybe if you quoted the ENTIRE post it would work better. You know, include the parts you can't address :) instead of cherry picking the few things you think you can address...

That doesn't explain : ""AlphaOmega said:
    why would they die again?""

    WHO is dying again?

Women die in pregnancy because of complications....and they only can die once.

Notice how the pro lifers are struggling on this thread

They have invested so much in “abortion will stop once roe versus wade is overturned”. That they cannot deal with a truth that it will not significantly impact the abortion rate. What it may do is increase the maternal and infant mortality rates

I am not convinced that even with a right leaning court America will ever see R v Wade overturned. It would also undermine one of the mainstay political platforms of the right

What a load of twaddle "we are more principled". The attempt by the religious right to ban abortion - on the basis of religious belief - violates the principles on which this nation was founded.

What a bunch of arrogant twaddle. Life Liberty and the pursuit of happiness....you would deny that to millions of those conceived yet still in the womb. Next you will be for denying it for millions in care facilities that can't speak for themselves. That's exactly how things "evolve" when you distort the meaning of "life". How 'bout harvesting organs from prisoners? Mankind has several paths of which he can follow and I'm sure you will present more.

Harvesting organs INVOLUNTARILY from prisoners is exactly like forcing women to use their bodies to sustain the life of another.....so it shouldn't happen.

The PEOPLE in care facilities are PEOPLE, BORN persons with rights.....a fetus is not a born person with rights, it has no rights.

An abortion is normally the result of two people who weren't responsible and the woman decided to make her CHOICES after the baby was conceived. An abortion is there for those that treat adult responsibility as a joke.

The NHS is paid for by the tax payer, in effect, everyone who does and has paid tax in the UK has therefore contributed to needless treatments such as abortions and dealing with fatties.

I for one would withdraw funding for abortions and instead, I would replace with two frying pans. If you haven't got the gumption to keep your legs shut or take precautions (say, take it up the blowpipe instead), then your head needs to be between the frying pans when they're whacked together.

No, it's not...it's the result of a pregnant woman who doesn't want to be pregnant.

YUP! That's what Pro-CHOICE is all about.....CHOOSING to have an abortion or not. That's when the issue of rights sets in.

No, it's there for women who CHOOSE not to have a kid.

They're needless until you need one....and your opinion of "need" doesn't matter to anyone but you :)

Does the NHS know about how wrong they are to help people? Maybe you should send your "approval list" LOL! I bet they're so interested :)

Ever think that you might need something from NHS someday and somebody might not approve of what YOU need?

HILARIOUS! You don't want fetuses aborted but you promote violence and murder upon women !!!!

Oh my! What nasty comments …..that's OK, I'm used to the hate from Anti-Choicers for everything except fetuses.

I'm sure that post was useless to anyone who hates facts....

The last part fit perfectly with the tone of the first part....
