All 427 HOM redactions were a Bob Mueller necessity. Mueller handed off 14 referrals, and it's Bob's "beyond the scope" franchise that need to conceal info. So while liars in the (D) are scribbling subpoenas for material, and trying not to hyperventilate while assassinating Barr's character, Barr is meeting their demands for transparency. True, the public won't get to see info Mueller needs to conceal, but the public has been treated more transparency. The lying House (D)'s cover-up meme couldn't be more transparent. Impeachment? All in Congress will end up seeing (and discussing) the full unredacted Mueller report. The American people will have to be satisfied with what we saw Thursday, and I most certainly am... Can't imagine there's anything worse in there for anybody...

Or the purpose of subpoenaing Barr to testify -vs- Mueller? The purpose behind Mueller's boycott of briefings? Mueller is puting a lot of distance between himself and his report. What's the purpose of that?

 

How exactly is he doing that?? I heard a report that he showed up in his office yesterday, I presume to prepare to appear before Congress in a month, but that's just a guess...

Did DisBarr invite Mueller to appear at the podium with him on Thursday?? Has Mueller dodged any events related to the release I'm unaware of?

Mueller had no role in the proceeding his testimony will come shortly.
So are you saying you believe that when he does he is going to testify that Barr lied and in fact Trump is a Russian spy, committed treason, obstructed the investigation and indictments are awaiting?

You were the one indicating Mueller was dodging something... I didn't think he needed to be at DisBarr's pre-release spin attempt, and I would have dodged that if asked, but no evidence he did.

And Mueller certainly has no reason at this time to hold a press conference.. when he finally does speak, it needs to be under oath...

 

He won't make one mention of Bill DisBarr... he's already an afterthought... Barr didn't lie... he cherry-picked and spun and has now been caught. Can't believe he thought that 4 page memo would stand the test of time.

I assume the primary question to Mueller will be "If Donald Trump wasn't the president, and thus reportedly unindictable, would you have indicted him for any or all of the OOJ occurences you detail in your report"?

 

That's some sense of urgency. I rember how quickly team Mueller rebutted the garbage Buzzfeed published about Michael Cohen's statements to Mueller. WaPo & The Times published allegations about team Mueller accusing Barr of lying to congress as part of a cover up. No need for a press release? And why does Mueller need to be sworn? We can't trust Mueller, why trust his report, or the investigation that produced it?

So, they are being offered an opportunity to view the whole report except the GJ testimony which is require to be redacted by law. GJ testimony that Nadler and Schiff once said was not necessary to be seen.

They have no interest in seeing the report. All they are interested in is the optics of being denied the full report. They are not interested in justice or law. They are only interested in is convincing fools how righteous they are.

The real question is, should the leading members of Congress that pushed for a Special Council and insisted that The President used the Russians to win the election, should themselves be the Subject of a Special Council's Investigation for attempts, under the color of law (misfeasance or malfeasance), to obstruct the Office of the President in effective leadership.

Is President Trump the best President we've ever had? No! Not by a longshot. Is he the sharpest pencil in the box? No! Not by a longshot. But he is the President and he has been strong enough to stand against the seige from the professional politicians (not the most honest collection of money grubbing people) of Whashington one the day ehe was elected until the present (and it looks like even further). The Congress, while sparing no effort to hound The President, did not pass the budget on time, and has not adequately addressed the issues of educating American's in college (funding Pell Grants, and containing expenses and costs), energy development, health care, employment, research and development, commerce and industrial capacity. Yet, they have the odacity to hunt The President like riders in a fox hunt, all for their own best interest --- and not that of the people.

Bill Barr, and all of Trump's mafia-fascist w****s should to put in for-profit private prisons and then progressives should begin to bankrupt the private prisons by cutting their subsidies, per Diem, and, audit their taxes. In other words, do to them what they are doing now to Social Security and Medicare. If we--and it must be a 'we'--don't fight back, then we lose while Trump's fascists win. There are at least three fascist movements closing in on Europe and America: White Supremacists, the European Union fascists, and the Corporate Neoliberal fascists. The Democratic Party is totally unprepared to fight these three fascist movements. Pelosi won't even admit there is a new progressive movement in her own party which is being sandbagged---it is her Democratic party, not the progressives'.

 

Many of the usual suspects seem to have taken the week off. Perhaps in their safe space?
