Maybe he just flat didn't want to. Maybe he just simply doesn't like her after the things she said about him in the campaign - whipping up people to the point they wanted to kill him - insinuating he was a terrorist and claiming he was "different" from other people. Maybe he thought she deserved it. Ever think about that? IMPO Obama owes Palin exactly NOTHING. If anybody owes anybody an apology, Palin owes Obama one which he'll never get so don't expect him to come rushing to her defense when somebody insults her. It's absolutely bizaare that you would think he should.

Maher doesn't rely on advertisers, is not considered the de-facto leader or voice of the democratic party, and his comment wasn't defended by democratic politicians.

Maher used the word against a public figure. Maher's remarks were aimed at one person, Sarah Palin.

Limbaugh relies on advertisers, is considered the de-factor leader and voice of the republican party, and his comments were defended by republican politicians.

Limbaugh used the word against a private citizen. Limbaugh was insulting women as a whole by falsely saying that women on contraception are promiscuous. 99% of women are on contraception.

    :flame:

I tried to lay out the enormous differences between Maher and Limbaugh's comments here as simply as possible. If our conservative friends are still incapable of comprehending any of this, then they'll continue to defend Limbaugh's misogyny and continue to hurt their own party.

It's a win / win for the Democrats and Obama
