The quality of "doing your own research":

 

It's not even that the anti vaxxers don't have the knowledge and/or training to "fact check" the science on vaccines. They lack the knowledge and/or training to determine which fact checkers are valid and which are not.

 

There's the official version* and there's the alternative version**. I think the best way to see which version reflects reality is to watch what's happening around us. I know three people who got blood clots shortly after getting the jab. Someone I know tells me that she knows several people who had some serious health issues after getting the jab. The owner of a health food store where I shop told me that he knows several doctors who say they're seeing a significant increase in different kinds of cancers that they'd hardly ever seen before the vaccine rollout. What's happening around me seems to be consistent with the alternative version.

I don't believe somebody who believes that 911 was caused by the US government and that the moon landings didn't happen. Your anecdotes are not credible evidence as anecdotes never are.

The lady next door died and the friend who was staying with her insisted the chicken they had for dinner must have caused her death. Nothing to do with the fact that the woman was 89 years old and had a heart condition. Just an anecdote that she created from her own beliefs. What I do is trust the people in the top photograph (especially when the vast majority of them agree) and dismiss the ramblings of the people in the bottom photograph (even if all of them agree)

I've never had a chance to test the "magnetize people" theory. Until I'm physically there to see the test, it's still up in the air as far as I'm concerned. The 5G theory is too technical for me to opine on so I can't rule that out yet either. Why are you ruling these theories out? I know there are mainstream sources that say those theories are baloney, but the mainstream are known liars.
