Because most Americans sit on their asses during primaries. They don't vote during primaries.

And so it is the rubes and idiots who get to decide who the nominee for each party will be.

Biden would have been the logical and most qualified pick from the Dem side, had he not withdrawn due to the death of his son. I honestly cannot say who the best Rep candidate SHOULD have been from that gaggle (I honestly didn't follow that process a whit), but Trump SHOULDN'T have ended up in the top 5... I guess in hindsight, the 2 most impressive since the election have been Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham, but both were out pretty early...

If those are your 4 criteria for President (and it's a solid list), Trump scores a ZERO in my book... Hillary has to get at least a 1 for maturity.

Before that, I can't think of an "evil" candidate during this century. I thought Bush Jr was legitimately not smart enough to be president, but I had no issues with John McCain or Mitt Romney as R candidates or Gore, Kerry and Obama on the D side. None of those are remotely "evil" so I discount your premise.... Hoping 2016 was a total one-off...

I didn't vote for Trump, neither did I for Hillary. I voted third party along with 8 million other Americans. I came to the conclusion that regardless of who won between those two, whomever that was would leave this country in worst shape once they left office than when they first entered. so I voted against both. When leaving the country worst off, there was as far as I was concerned no choice but to vote against both.

Suing Russia in an American Court, I don't think Russia has to or even would pay any attention to whatever the court decides. Wiki-leaks, those e-mails were for real. So they show basically a conspiracy by Democrats. suing Wiki is like suing for making public something you did that you weren't suppose to do in the first place.

I don't know. I thought Mueller was suppose to be handling Russia and collusion. I just don't know, Running with a knee jerk reaction is usually a bad idea. I'll give it some time before coming to any real conclusion about this. I just don't understand it.

That is true, but it is also a strawman of the allegation associated with collusion. One of the actual allegations is that Tlthe Russian hacking and disseminating of the DNC was done in response to, or as payment for, the Trump administration doing things like pushing pro-russian talking points. Or compiling voter data and sharing to the Russian so they could target with the illegally obtained information, or with trolls, or with fake news stories.

Really? I haven't read every post, but I don't believe I've seen much support for this concept in this thread... Most of us are adopting a wait-and-see attitude to see if this goes anywhere... I suspect it won't... Even the OP suggests doubt about this situation....

Democrats suffered their biggest presidential loss in 28 years on November 8, 2016, as people in 30 states rejected them.

For the first time since 1860, there was no peaceful transition of power.

The lawsuit shows Americans just who the Democrats are.

Americans are tired of Hillary, Jim Shady Comey, CNN, and the constant attacks on President Trump.
