That's pretty much it, you've nailed it. I would not call it stealing of course and I don't think taking too much money from your customers is good economic policy. We are not talking about fairness in taxation, remember? We are talking job creation and the government taking a little extra money from the rich is the best, most reliable and efficient way to create additional demand for goods and services, stimulate the economy and job growth.

So feeding the parasite somehow helps the host organism.....

By your "logic".....if government seized 100% of all income....Demand would go through the roof.

If Liberal economics worked.....the Soviet Union would have been the most prosperous country to ever grace this planet......

And how soon were you bankrupt and out of business.......

Really.......so a 50% income tax wouldnt play a part either.....neither would a 75% tax rate......and 100% tax rate would create demand and a booming economy.

Tell me.......what are you DEMANDING right now?

How are you conveying that DEMAND to entreprenuers?

Do you realize Liberalism is a complete fraud and utter lie?

Nope, wrong again. Government must leave enough resources to satisfy the growing demand. It's a matter of balance, when demand is weak and the country is about to plunge into recession the best way to stimulate the economy is government spending and the best way to finance it is by taxing the rich which will take the money from the sidelines and put it back into circulation.

PS by your logic 0% taxation will create enormous employment growth. Of course GE does not pay taxes and still its work force does not grow exponentially (if at all) somehow. Still I admire people with such simplistic black and white thinking. "Lower taxes solve all economic problems", right? What else is there to know, why would people study for years to get a degree in Economics when you have already discovered the universal solution that always works. LOL

What? Why on earth would every American quit their job and get on food stamps? Seriously you exist on another planet. You've been given data that shows that food stamps offer more economic benefit than Bush's tax cuts and you give me this garbage about "Well what if every American got on food stamps" Well I'd imagine that would be pretty bad for the economy. Good thing people like having jobs.

When you take from consumers and producers.......YOU ELIMINATE DEMAND.

    Two economies.....one with a 10% tax rate.....the other with a 90% tax rate.....

.....which one collects more revenue? ....which one has a booming economy? ....which one is most likely to see job creation?

Do you see the fraud you believe in?

No one, especially Pelosi has ever said that because that is not at all what liberal economists believe. You're lack of ability to understand the argument of the side you oppose shows that you are the last person who should be discussing economic policy. I suggest you take some time to research economics before making a return to an economic debate. Because right now you're getting tossed around by amateurs such as myself.

Food stamps and welfare are meant as crutches and are not at all intended for economic growth. They are there to prevent total economic collapse and help ease our way through recessions. The goal is only getting those who need food stamps on food stamps. If people who don't need food stamps are on food stamps it has reverse economic effects. But if people who do need it are on it it creates demand and encourages much needed money flow in recessions where everyone is penny pinching.
