I'm not familiar with that book from Engel, will have to check it out. Families aren't conservative or liberal, etc. they can be anything, it's simply a group of people. I definitely think home schooling should be banned, it's basically child abuse since this allows parents to stunt the child's educational development.

 

Well, first of all, there's the matter of his cheating on his wives (in some cases with the next wife). There are numerous talks he's had with Howard Stern (on the radio) that have been similarly misogynistic. Trump is pretty much scum when it comes to women. It's why I didn't vote for him. He doesn't have even the minimum moral character to be President (and neither did Hillary).

No I have to say I disagree. I used to think "Marriage Equality" for LGBTQ people was catastrophic and an "end-all" for traditional marriage but now as I've aged in my late twenties I've realized it isn't and wasn't ever the case, it's merely an easy target to pass blame on instead of address the real factors that are causing traditional marriage to decline. It's an easy target is all so everybody from Buba to Highfalutin types readily use it as the big bad monster. It's a nice and easy excuse to divert attention from the actual core problems of every advanced society's population issues which are technology and economic prosperity and how those two things influence young people compared to say my parents generation and previous generations who had no such influences.


Truly think how much texting has changed marriage. When a young couple nowadays goes through difficulty in their marriage they now have to contend with EVERY single person they know texting them, messaging them, emailing them, posting about them, texting about them, texting them with renewed "interest". Consider previous generations. None of that was even possible. None of those pressures even existed on the marriage early on. The idea that your marriage could be destabilized by a late night "text" would have been unfathomable even 30 years ago. Now your significant others "texting maturity" is a real, legitimate concern. Young people these days have far more to contend with that threatens their marriages chance for success than any previous generation. "LGBTQ people" are the least of concerns of my generation let me assure you.

 

The progressive assault on marriage consisted of these actions:

No Fault Divorce, Griswold v. Connecticut, Sexual Revolution, Feminism and lastly Gay Marriage as the coup de gras.

Single American women, especially younger, single women with children tend to see Big Government as a surrogate "husband" that provides money and protection for her and her brood. I did not cast a vote for the simple fact that the question is inadequate. Most women and females are out for power just like men, which is why it takes time for a married woman to submit to her husband. Yes, what I am saying is definitely none P.C., but so what. Pollycy, why do you think that these single women would rather have government over them than a Man? I know for a fact that it has to deal with said women hating men in general and Black Men in particular. This is why these same types of females, choose the "street thus type" than a real honest man. Their choices have little to do with unavailability than with seeking a male that they know will not be around. This is one of the reasons why homosexuality is on the rise and being a man is completely distorted. These females intentionally neuter the boys so that they remain in control. This is a major contributing factor in the death of Freedom and Liberty; Freedom and Liberty are guaranteed and protected by men. Being that government as an entity controlled by certain types of males,whom I will call men for lack of a better term, encourage said females to rely on them for sustenance, protection, housing, security, etc. Both need each other and hate the very idea of a Man interfering in their "relationship". As is and has always been known, women do not rule, men rule so absent Man ruling, who is in control? If t is not the men of the environment, than it is those who seek and gain power over both men and women. This is the main reason I am ANTI-GOVERNMENT!
