There is no way to prevent people from doing the wrong thing. The only thing that could be done is if a government official refuses to do what the government requires is to fire them.

To me growing the government is creating more regulations and governmental agencies. Spending can be an indication of many things including government giveaways which is a favorite of democrats and liberals.

Even a Texas teen mom living in a trailer park knows she can't keep spending more each month than she makes.
