Okay, here it is -- the mother lode of FBI files on Vietnam Veterans Against the War. This archive contains 21,477 pages of documents received in response to our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, bundled up by the FBI as PDF-format Files of Unusual Size.

So pick a file -- any file. We would ask serious researchers to send us short overviews of the material you read so we can index the information a bit better. And of course, if you find anything especially interesting please call it to our attention. We have some concern about the bandwidth this is likely to consume, but sending us a few dollars would help cover that, in addition to giving you a warm, glowing feeling of accomplishment. Enjoy...

Feel free to start a new thread on this off topic post. There were lots of threads from back in 2004 about the RW propaganda funded swiftboat liars.

But the board can take note that you utterly failed to provide any evidence of your bullshit claim that Kerry abandoned his shipmates in combat.

Iriemon, you and I are not adversaries. We both agree that Kim is a ruthless murderer. I only asked that you discover that he has nothing at all to do with communism.

That's exactly what you're condoning and enabling with your support.

Empty, pointless, irrelevant conflict is your game. Try dealing with the subject. You do it very little.

He calls himself a communist. My point was not to argue that he actually is one or not, I'll pass on that debate. My point was to emphasize the RW double standard and hypocrisy of the president sucking up to a dictator who claims he is a communist which Republicans pretended they abhorred.

Unless it is their guy doing it.

It was a much bigger deal in the past, for sure. Being a war veteran isn't looked at (concerning the presidency) like it used to be. Saying the military didn't love Clinton doesn't even make sense. They don't tell you that you can't join because they don't like you.

How are you gonna sit there and tell me this guy wasn't in the military?

I can see where we stand on this spectrum. We'll just agree to disagree so we don't spin our wheels aimlessly arguing.

What makes Trump a dictator? Is it his talks about peace? His proposal to end or level tariffs? Lowered taxes? He's doing what he told his voters he'd do, not asking for anything in return. If he were anything like a dictator, the news anchors of all anti-Trump stations would be in camps or dead, 90% of Hollywood would be in camps or dead, Social media would be banned, etc etc. Instead he's letting the insults roll off his shoulders while continuing to do what he promised and not letting the anti-Trump media and other elected officials that block him get to him. I firmly believe your sadness and outrage is due to not being able to get under his skin or frighten his supporters.

It's the same anger you get from a bully who is enraged because they're trying to piss you off and can't. Nothing makes bullies more mad than ignoring them or laughing at them.

All U.S. Navy and Marines who ended up with WestPac orders did a 13 month tour of duty.

John Kerry only did 5 1/2 months tour of duty "in-country" from November 17, 1968 to April 1st 1969.

All of Kerry's shipmates completed their 13 moths tour of duty.

There's some scuttlebutt that Al Gore bugged out on his buddies in Vietnam but since Al Gore didn't run on his military service when he ran for President back in 2000 we gave Al a complete pass.

Think about it...if Al were have stayed in Vietnam and got shot by Charley...there would be no internet today. :eyepopping:

Think about it. If conservatives were not hypocrites who apply double standards, there would have been no President Bush2 and no president donald.

Immediately preceding the picture, the Korean officer saluted Trump. Trump responded in kind.

    You lost me.

G.W. Bush is not a conservative

The conservative base of the GOP lost control of the GOP during the late 1990's.

    Nope. I never said that.

I said he used wealth and/or connections to dodge the war. When Bush was faced with being drafted, he took the pilot test, achieving the lowest possible passing score, and got in to the Texas Air NG, a/k/a the "Champagne unit" which everyone was trying to get into because at that time, with few exceptions, NG units were not being sent to Vietnam. So while less fortunate kids were being drafted and sent to the jungles, Bush tooled around in jets, chased fillies, and took a bunch of time off to help with his daddy's campaign.

Yeah I get it. You want to kick him out of the club because his conservative policies were a disaster. Someday you'll be saying donald was no conservative either.

But Bush's tax cuts and de or un-regulation policies were in fact conservative. He was certainly no liberal. We don't want him.

But even a guy who got the lowest possible passing score on the pilot exam was able to do it. So it couldn't have been that tough.

His tax cuts and anti-regulation positions were very conservative. Conservatives, not liberals, put him in power. Twice.

Sorry. You're stuck with him. We don't want him.

    A score of 25 isn't the lowest, a 1 is the lowest.

    I never said 1 wasn't lower than 25.

I said Bush got the lowest passing score on his pilot test.

Not sure what the rest of your quote is supposed to prove.
