No one said it was a vaccine, except you. Others have called it a treatment to get over it and a prophylactic to reduce the chances of catching it. But, you and you alone have called it a "vaccine".

You're right, that isn't what he said in the article, and the thread title is click bait. The mods usually change the titles to match the article's headline. I guess they missed this one.

 

Never gonna happen, no matter how many sign a petition. I've become resigned to the fact that too many are enthralled by Donald Trump for him to ever be held accountable for COVID deaths, or for inciting an insurrection on Jan. 6, or for anything else except possibly cheating on his taxes. Just like Al Capone.

 

Of course it's not exact, how could it be, amidst the chaos of a pandemic? Perhaps the portions of the report that you perceived as political was simply factual and unfavorable towards Trump.

 

There is a difference between 'facts' and subjective opinions.

Fact is Trump didn't move as fast as some people may have preferred.
Opinion is 'sloppy and disjointed' (paraphrase)

The organization is most definitely biased, but could have provided set facts, not opinions, if they truly wanted to support the subject.

 

What you think of as opinions are words and phrases backed up by the math. It's all in the report: what the probable numbers are, and how they came by those numbers. I think you may be seeing partisanship because the scientifically derived conclusions are so unfavorable towards the Trump administration and their mishandling of this crisis.

 

When an organization points fingers, they lose their objectivity.

The US, as they stated, is a unique structure compared to other countries. You cannot compare what other countries did or did not do, and then claim any deaths above those numbers were avoidable.

 

No, you cheated his ass and we're going to "circle back" to that.

 

There's a simple solution. Look away. He's going nowhere, anytime soon. The one positive I've seen to him being cheated out of the office is the absolute bloodbath of firings and layoffs in the 5th column media since he left. THAT has been priceless to see.

When media has to hire or retain people to cover all the corruption and poor behavior from politicians that isn’t something any of us should look away from.

The whole purpose of the study and the report was to prove the incompetence and negligence of the Trump administration, so of course the facts will seem biased to Trump supporters.

We can have our own opinions, there is only one set of facts, not "alternative facts."

And yes, they most certainly can make comparisons to other countries in order to get comparative per capita numbers, otherwise the study is moot.

The FACTS prove that tens of thousands of our fellow Americans are needlessly dead because Trump, knowing the deadliness of this virus as early as Feb 2020, decided to play it down because the economy was more important to his reelection chances than keeping more of us alive.
